Chapter One

"Best Friends Forever!"

The sun shines brightly, soft breeze blows gently on the far fields of roses as the bells ring signaling the welcoming remarks of first day of school in Gemstone Auranature University.

Akira walked to her new school as she was just new from the city of Anadil, she was greeted by the principal of the school Mrs. Lim "Good morning Ms. Lillianna, I'm Mrs. Maryann Lim, Welcome to Gem University", Mrs. Lim was accompanied by two more students whom Akira guessed was also new from Anadil because of their looks, "Good Morning!"she greeted as Mrs. Lim volunteered to tour them inside the school.

The school corridors were decorated by paintings of vast nature and unique flowers, lockers were colored with different colors which depends on the color of uniform the Principal gave to you, pillars were made of abstract bricks like it was painted, plants on every corner, ceilings were decorated with small chandeliers which served as lights. The company turned to another hall decorated by frames of famous scientists, mathematicians, painters, engineers, doctors and other people who lived in Anadil that became famous for their inventions and work, they walked until they reached Mrs. Lim's office, Mrs. Lim gave them their uniforms of pink, red and blue and showed them their rooms and gave them their schedules, bid a goodluck and went back to her office.

After the Introduce Yourself part, their new adviser, Prof. Francine Maydon, requested the new students to change to their uniforms and decorate their lockers for the whole year. So all of the new students in 8th grade went to the dressing room to change their civilian outfits to their uniforms. Meanwhile, a girl in blue skirt with white blouse and black waistcoat approached her and asked Akira's name. The girl's name was Amethyst, she has a waist-long sky blue hair which she braided it, glossed lips and mocha colored eyes while Akira has a rose pink octopus waist-long hair, pinkish lips and blue eyes. After they introduced themselves, Akira and her new friend Amethyst went to the hall to decorate their locker, while walking the two talked "so, Amethyst, you're from Heather, where are you're parents?" Akira asked "Both of my parents are away because my mom's a famous singer and my dad's a doctor from London, they sent me here so that I could get used to around nature and I live alone, how about you?" she asked "Oh, I thought you never asked, my mom passed away and my dad's is a mythologists, we were living at my grandparent's mansion that my grandmother named it as one of my inheritance, by the way, it's just the two of us in that huge house you could move in if you want, I'll go tell my dad" Akira replied as Amethyst jumped in agreement and promised to move in the very next day, while on their way they saw a girl with red curly hair, has black eyes and was wearing glasses drawing or writing something at her sketchbook plopped down next to their lockers. Akira and Amethyst tip-toed closer so they could get a peek whatever the girl was doing and saw that the girl was drawing a dragon, the girl caught them and quickly closed her pad and stand up, dusting the dust in her red skirt, fixed her glasses and looked at them "Sorry, I blocked your locker, I was just... well uh" the girl stammered as she nervously picked her pen, opened her locker which was right next to Akira's, and placed her stuff and closed it "Hello, my name's Akira and this is my friend Amethyst, I guessed that you are new also, what's your name?" Akira asked holding out her hand "Yukira Reddington, nice to meet you too" Yukira said as she shake Akira and Amethyst's outstretched hands, smiling they begin to decorate their lockers.

Akira decorate her locker with a heart shaped mirror on the side, taped pictures of Anime 3d Angels and other mythical creatures, she put her makeup kit at the top shelf along with her folded extra civilian clothes and in the second shelf she put her school books and mythical books and constellation books in which she love to read and hung her raincoat and gym's uniform and for the last part she put her boots, heels, slippers and sandals under it closed her locker and set up combination of number password.

Yukira decorate her locker with square shaped mirror pinned her picture beside it and taped different kinds of dragons, on the upper shelf she put her sketch pads and drawing/coloring materials and she put her civilian clothes on the second one and hung her gym uniform and raincoat lastly she put her boots and extra sandals, closed her locker's door and set up the password.

Amethyst's locker decoration was pretty much like them only she had putted up a circle shaped mirror and taped anime 3d mermaids closed her locker's door and set up her password

Just as the three of them were done, they checked their schedules 8:30 am which was recess and directly to the school's cafeteria while on their way Akira asked Yukira about her parents "Oh, it's not one of my favorites, my mom and dad died because of plane crash and I was left with my aunt who didn't treated me well she said when I finished 8th grade she'll threw me out and treat me as an orphan" Yukira said sadly Akira placed a hand on her new friend's shoulder " Look, I have more than a hundred rooms in my house, so I was just thinking if you'll.....well move in tomorrow and my dad's gonna take care of your education, that's if you want" Akira said smiling "I.. Like that, thank you" Yukira said "Akira" Amethyst called "Yes?" Akira asked "just curious, we just met but why do you treat us as friends already?" Amethyst asked "I don't know to myself either I just like you two already, friends?" Akira asked holding out her hand "you mean Best Friends" Amethyst said placing her hand on top of Akira's hand "I'm in" said Yukira and placed her hand on top "Best Friends Forever!" they said in harmony.

Meanwhile at the place of magic, three orbs of pink, red and blue glowed brightly releasing a burst of blinding rainbow light and vanished "The prophecy has started" said the Gem University's principal, Mrs. Maryann who was really the Mythia's prophecy guardian "There is still hope" she said smiling.
