“Come on Ryannnn!” I complained.

“I’m sorry bro, I’m working on a huge project, I can’t just leave.” Ryan apologized.

My dad was coming to visit me with Jazzy and Jax and I desperately wanted Ryan to come too. I already tried to convince Chaz, but he insisted on me having alone time with my family, which is the lamest excuse ever. Plus he is family to me, but he still insisted. So I let it go and called Ryan, but he can’t come because of this stupid project.

“Yes, you can. Aren’t you doing videos? Fredo can totally help.”

Totally ignoring my suggestions Ryan offered coming for Christmas. “Fine,” I answered, “see you by Christmas…” and the line went dead.

My bathroom door opened and Lindsey walked out. I smiled weakly at her, she frowned in return asking, “What’s wrong babe?”

“I really wanted Chaz and Ryan to come.” I pouted. She sat down next to me on my bed and wrapped her arm across my shoulders as an invitation to rest my head on her lap. I accepted and she started running her fingers through my hair and then gently kissed my cheek.

“You have me though, why do you have to be so upset?!” She snapped.

I picked up my head and shrugged her arm away from me. “I’m sorry that I miss my best friends. Jesus.” I snapped back. She reached out to hold my hand, but I pulled away, “No, just don’t-” I started saying, but got interrupted.

“I’m sorry-”

I interrupted her back, “Sorry? Linds everything is always about you lately. Can’t you just accept the fact that maybe you need to back off and that you’re not the only person in the world I want to spend time with?” When I was done screaming at her I found myself inching away from her like she was poison, which made me think that if I spend any more time with her I might turn into her. And that would make me become an unappreciative and selfish person. I didn’t want to become like that. I looked into her eyes to see them filled with tears, “You’re crying? For real? I should be the one crying after realizing how stupid I was to think you ever cared.”

I got up and went into the bathroom slamming the door behind me. I just needed a nice shower to cool off. I know perfectly well that what I just did was completely rude, but I can’t have a girlfriend who keeps me from spending time with the people close to me. I don’t know why I’m only realizing now, I guess I just needed a distraction, but now that my dad’s coming in, I don’t need her anymore and when he leaves, I have the believe tour.

After my shower I wrapped a towel around my waist and left the bathroom.

“I’ll just collect my things and leave.” Lindsey said without meeting my eyes.

“Make it quick. I gotta go buy presents for Jazz and Jax before they come tomorrow.” I said looking through my closet.

“Who are they?” She asked. I turned around to see her with a confused expression.

“Do you EVER listen to me?” I asked as calmly as possible.

“Sure I do.” She answered smiling.

“Obviously not because I talk about them every day and I even show you pictures of them.” I started rubbing my eyes, getting tired from all of this.

“Oh they’re your-”

“Brother and sister.” I finished her off, “Y’know what? Just go. Now.”

“I didn’t get all my stuff though.” She said.

“I’ll ship you anything you left.” I sighed.

“Fine. Bye.” She rolled her eyes and left.

I quickly pulled on pants, a t-shirt, and a beanie. I grabbed my shoes, wallet, and car keys and exited my house towards my car.

As I pulled into the parking lot at Toys R Us, I got a phone call from Scooter.

“Hey buddy.” He greeted once I answered the call/

“Hi.” I greeted back glumly.

“What’s up?” He asked, sensing my annoyance.

“I just dumped Lindsey.” I answered.

“Ahh you finally saw her she really is huh?”

“She asked who Jazzy and Jax were when I mentioned their names.” I reasoned.

“Wow! That’s a shocker!” He exclaimed.

I chuckled in agreement, “I know!”

He chuckled too and ask me about recording believe acoustic.

“Well I’ll record on the road since my family is coming in tomorrow and I might not have the time, unless… well yeah maybe I will within the next few weeks.”

“Perfect, just keep in touch.”

“Alright, thanks Scooter.”

“No problem kid.”

I ended the phone call with a smile on my face. Scooter always managed to keep me positive whenever we talked. Now it’ll be easier to shop with a happier mood.

------------A FEW HOURS LATER--------------

“FREDOO!” I screamed from across the house.

“JUSTIIIIN!!” He screamed back.

“My dad’s flight is arriving at 3 in the morning! Are we pulling an all nighter?” I asked.

“Definitely, I’ll order some pizza.” He answered.

“Tonight is going to be intense.” I grinned.

“Dude, you have no idea.” Fredo said as he walked into my room where I was lying down, “Oh and I was meaning to ask you, what are those boxes doing by the front door?”

I sighed remembering what happened today. “I dumped Lindsey.”

“Yes! That bitch is gone for good! I don’t know how you were able to stand her all these months…we all couldn’t for at least 2 hours.”

“Why didn’t you guys tell me? If she was annoying you guys, I would’ve dumped her sooner.”

“Yeah, but we didn’t wanna interfere.”

“Whatever.”

“You know what this means don’t ya?”

“What does it mean?”

“Justin Bieber is single and ready to mingle..” Fredo winked at me.

We both started cracking up, “Wow man, corniest thing I’ve ever heard you say.”

 But he was right.

I’m single and totally read to mingle.
