Hi, um i'm back again. Idk if i'll actually finish this story but let's see what happens

I walked down the familiar street when my phone rang.
"Hello?" I asked, waiting for a response on the other line.
"Doctor Kang, you should hurry to the lab, right now." Came the voice from the other line, i could hear some shuffling and typing in the background noise.
"Okay i got it, i was heading there either way. But what's the rush?" I asked, wondering what exactly he could need urgently at this time in the morning.
"Just come here, you'll understand." At that the call ended. I slowly put my phone in my pocket, a confused look appearing on my face. 'What the hell' i thought. Shrugging it off I continued walking forward, reaching a crosswalk. As the light turned red i headed towards the other side, but was stopped after a few steps as i saw a bus out of the corner of my eye heading right towards me. It missed me by barely an inch.
"Woah that was a close one. Why the hell was that driver even going so fast anyway?" I mumbled to myself. The rest of the walk went by silently and without any disturbances. I now stood infront of the laboratory, one of the most well known building in the whole area. It looked extremely new compared to all the other buildings around. Taking out my card, I swiped it in the machine for the door to open. After hearing a beep sound I stepped forward as it opened. Heading over to the elevator I realized someone was running in my direction. It didn't seem like they were gonna stop so I side stepped them and watched as they crashed into the wall behind me.
"Calm down doctor Kim, i'm here so what do you need me for in such a hurry?" I asked as I watched him get up a bit wobbly before reaching down to pick up all the papers that were scattered on the ground.
"It's the prototype, you just have to see this." He said excitedly before dragging me towards the elevator that just opened.
We went down about 5 floors before stepping outside as the lights automatically switched on in the hallway, brightening up our view.
He grabbed my arm and pretty much dragged me to where ever he was taking me, which didn't take long. I realized we stopped right infront of where my newest project was being built.
I looked at him before looking at the door, slowly reaching out for the handle and opening the door. As I looked inside, I saw some people standing right next to the table which held the machine. A few more people were working on the computers and other devices hooked up to it. As they realized someone was at the door they all looked at me and their faces glowed with happiness. In less than a minute I was being dragged yet again into the room.
"It's ready." Said one of the female workers with the curly brown hair.
"We left the last step for you, since it is your project." Said the male worker with the ginger hair. As I slowly processed all of this information my happiness level went up. I quickly went over to one of the computers that said "Enter Password" and typed it out. Taking a deep breath I clicked enter and turned towards the table. We all heard the machine being turned on, as the engine whirred and a blue light emitted from it's chest. 'This is it' I thought. After all the failed tries, I finally succeeded as the first ever robot came to life infront of me.
He slowly opened his eyes, which emitted a blue colour in the dimly lit room. As the computer slowly fed information into him, the blue faded away and his eyes turned into a dark brown, almost black colour. He looked around the room from his lying position, before sitting up straight as one of the workers told him to.
"It's really amazing... I still can't believe it worked this time. Doctor Kang congratulations!" Said the same worker with the brown curly hair.
Snapping out of my daze I put my work face on again.
"We'll have to run some tests on him first to see if he functions properly before moving on ahead okay everyone?" They all nodded at my questions and a few took out some clipboards with information on them.
I walked up to the table to get a closer look at him. His head turned towards my direction as he started collecting information on me. What we planned is that whenever these projects succeeded one thing for sure had to be done. The prototype would have to know and recognize the inventor if not anyone else, just for safety precautions. I took a few steps closer while maintaining the eye contact we had. Speaking softly I asked him a question.
"Can you move your hand?" In response he lifted his arm up. The first movement you could hear his gears working, but the second time there was no sound, just like a humans. Smiling, I asked him another question.
"Can you speak?" It took him a few seconds but he finally did say something.
"Hello, Doctor Kang Minah." His voice glitched a little before settling on a more human like voice.
My eyes lit up at hearing his voice. It sounded so sweet to me. Behind me I heard excited mumbling as soon as he had spoken.
"Don't worry about full names, just call me Minah." He gave a small nod as a reply.
"Wait I just realized...I still have to give you a name. Oh! Do you have one in mind? I think it would be better if you chose a name you liked." I said, looking at him directly now with a smile plastered on my face. I watched as he slowly closed his eyes, which if I had to take a guess, was him thinking of a name. After a few seconds he opened his eyes again and gave me a single nod.
"Great! What do you have in mind?"
"Jeon Jungkook."

And that's the end of chapter one, i hope you enjoyed
