"What is your name?"
Sherry asked again, sounding like a robot again.
"Uh.. Xavier.." (pronounced: Sal•vee•air)
Suddenly, I felt my left eye burning.
When I touched my cheek, it was wet with red.
Not blood...
"W-what..."
I stuttered.
"Cherry... What is happening to Xavier's eye..."
Sherry asked, covering her mouth in terror.
"His eye is going from red, his normal pupil color, to pink. Was he really what I thought he was, or am I just losing my smoxy and almost killing a boy..."
The weird tree went on, then I realized I really had no pain.

After all of the red was gone in my left eye and was now pink, I wanted answers.
Not from that tree, she's no help.
"Okay, Sherry, tell me what the heck is happening here!!!!!"
I pretty much yelled.
"Did you not know? You are a cherry blossom child," Sherry said.
I gave her this dumb look.
"And that is..."

"Each cherry blossom on Cherry is a child. A child of mysteries, that have to write out their story. Kind of like human life, but not at the same time. When the blossom hits the ground, it becomes a child, boy nor girl, and is given an age where everything is at excellence: intelligence, economic skills, etcetera. But of course not all have the same level of excellence
"After all of this is given, the child goes out, but not far from the tree, to see the world. After doing so, they come back and choose their gender..."
I noticed a little sadness in Sherry's eyes, but ignored it.
"Am I supposed to remember this?"
That made sense, but me bring one didn't.
I mean, I obviously have to believe them because there's a talking tree behind me.
"Yes... Yes you should..."
I really don't.
I remember having a mother and a father at home, waiting for me to come from school...
Not that I should remember it.
"Um... I had a mother and a father.."
Hopefully neither Sherry or Cherry (making them rhyme is confusing ;-; ) pick up on the 'had'.
"Well, that can only have one explanation," Cherry started, scaring me to death.
"Boy, I'm starting to believe you're either ½ human and ½ child, or either just a second generation!"
What does she mean by second generation?
What does she mean by ½ human and ½ cherry blossom?!
Okay, now I'm freaked out.
"What Cherry is saying, Xavier, is that one of your parents were a cherry blossom, or both of them were and had you. Love between cherry blossom children in humans and each other is very taboo..."
Oh, so now I'm not even meant to be here...
How nice!
My parents die, and now I'm being told I'm not taboo...
"I believe he's only half," Cherry stated.
"When humans get married, a man is always on the left and woman on the right."
What the heck does marriage placement have to do with this?!
Maybe I'm just going crazy.
"Boy, you're father was a cherry blossom child!"
If I had a drink, I would've spit some out.
My father was a cherry blossom child?
Jeez.
Okay.
"Well now you are stuck with us Xavier," Sherry said with a smile.
Maybe staying wouldn't be that bad.
Sherry is still here.
