Chapter 8

I wake up, having slept better than I have ever slept. I can feel arms wrapped around me, and deep breathing behind me. At first I panic, but as soon as I breath in, I can smell the woodsy aroma of my mate. I turn around at smile when I see Hayden' s face. Right now he looks peaceful. Not wanting to wake him, I watch him sleep for a while. Right when I thought it couldn't get any better, Hayden says, "Take a picture it may last longer." Scowling I playfully hit him on his arm. Hayden slowly opens his eyes and takes my face in. "I want to wake up to this every morning." He whispered. I lean in and place a soft kiss on his lips When I pull back I reply, "so do I." We gaze at each other lovingly until Hayden's sister comes in and spoils the momaaaent. "Hayden dad wants to see..." She trails off as she sees us together. "I get to be a bride's maid!" she yells and runs out of the room. I blush deeply at her seeing us together. "Don't be embarrassed. It was just my sister." Hayden said. "I know but now everyone in the state will hear." I replied. Hayden laughed and pulled me in for a kiss. When my lips brushed his, sparks erupted between us. I pulled back, not wanting to get carried away. "You better hurry and go see your dad." I whispered. Hayden sighed and mumbled something. I got up and went into the bathroom to take a shower, and let me tell you, being the future Alpha has its purks. Hayden's bathroom has cream marble on his counters, shower, and bathtub. Above the counter he has a piece of glass that stretches across the wall. I sat there staring at his bathroom for 5 minutes before Hayden came and wrapped his arms around me. "Do you like it?" He asked me. "Do I like it? Of course I do! Half the time I have to share my tiny bathroom with my little sister because my mom is gone!" Just thinking about my little sister made me jealous. Bailey is the baby of the family at 12 and always gets what she wants. She Got the looks of my mother who has blond hair and blue eyes. My brother and I got the shaft when it came to my godmother and sister. We got my father's looks, brown hair and green eyes. It's hard thinking about my father, he died a few years ago from cancer. My mother almost lost it when he died. it took almost a full year to bring her back around. Coming back to the living world I can see Hayden waving his hand in front of my face. "Sorry, got lost in time." "It's ok. Why don't I go grab you some clothes and you can take a shower?" Hayden asked me. I turn around and stand on my toes and give him a kiss. "How did I get such an amazing mate?" I ask him. "I was wondering the sake thing." He said while giving me another kiss. go and hop in the shower while Hayden goes and grabs my clothes. The shower is it and soothes my muscles from running yesterday. When I get out of the shower I see my clothes sitting on the bathroom counter. Hayden knows how to pick out a girl's clothes. The shirt was a cream v-neck shirt, with dark jeans and Tom's. I let my hair air dry and put on a little mascara. I wanted to go the natural look today. when I walk out I see Hayden Maura have gone to meet with his dad. All of a sudden a horrendous noise came from my stomach. "Gee, are you hungry?" My stomach answers by sending out another one of those horrible noises. "I'll take that as a yes." In the hall I can see people starting to get up. down the hall I can see my brother coming my way with a pissed look on his face. "Shit." I mumble. "Where where where you yesterday!" He asks me. "And why did you just come out of Hayden's room?!" "Calm down Jayson! Let's find mom and I will explain it all to you." I hiss at him. Walking down the hall, we find my mom in her room with my little sister. "Mom we need to talk." I said while sitting down on the bed. "Where where you yesterday! We where so worried!" My mom said. "Mom," I said, "I have something to tell you." I can see the worried look in my mom's eyes. "it's nothing bad, it's actually great." I say smiling. "I found my mate." " I can see the joy in in my mother's eyes. "Who is he?" My sister asked me. "Hayden Price is my mate."
