A/N: This is for ALYN's Jovinki contest. Thank you @AnnabelleLYN_R5 for holding this contest! This story is based on The Origin Story (Jovenshire Vlog) when Joven was talking about how he and Sohinki first met and when Sohinki called Joven, "f*ck -face" after Joven made a mom joke in Hunting in Adult Minecraft (Backseat Gaming).

Disclaimer: I have taken dialogue directly from the above two videos. I also paraphrase dialogue from My Tattoos (The Joven Vlog). These videos belong to their rightful owners. I am just a fan of Smosh Games who ships Jovinki (Jovenshire/Sohinki).

Warning: Strong coarse language.

Other notes: I decided to experiment with second-person and see how it turned out. Let me know what you think! I also apologise if the characterisations are not accurate. Please let me know how I can improve them.

You're trying to answer the questions that the interviewer is throwing at you but the guy next to you keeps butting in instead.

Who the fuck does this guy think he is? Einstein? Newton?

There were three of you with the interviewer; it should have been a round robin of answer-every-third-question but that fuck didn't even care. He looked like a bum, dressed in a stupid black shirt and jeans. You'd actually put in an effort: tie, suit and dress shoes. With every question he interrupted the tie felt tighter (you wished you hadn't made it quite so tight), the jacket scratchier (even though it didn't touch your skin) and the sweat under your armpits increase (which would stain your shirt even though it was two sizes too big).

You'd never felt this way before.

You subtly try to tell him to fuck off without actually saying so: you keep glaring at him and gritting your teeth. It does nothing. He just continues to throw out answers and new ideas that you wish you had thought of in the first place. Envy creeps up on you like a poisonous vine.

"What is this guy doing? What is he doing? This is my interview and he's answering all the questions!"

You're getting strange looks all of a sudden and it takes you a moment to realise that you had said it and not someone else. They're just looking at you because they wouldn't expect such an outburst from a scrawny guy like you (right?). But the look you get from the guy who kept interrupting you makes you pause. He's tilting his head and giving you a little grin: one of curiosity, not malice. To the average person it would seem that he's merely amused by what you're saying and nothing more. But fuck-face is seeing into your soul (he's not even drilling you with his eyes or anything). It's like he knew exactly how you felt (angry and annoyed) and is wondering why you held it back for so long.

Then the interviewer's saying that all three of you are hired (there was a third person there?) and that he would be your boss.

Well, at least you have a god-damn job.

Days pass; you edit, edit, edit. You adamantly try and avoid fuck-face but somehow he always manages to show up.

"Sohinki!" he'd yell out, day after day, striding up to your cubicle as though you hadn't shot him down every day since you'd met. He'd babble on about whatever took his fancy, whether it be a new idea to help the channel, batman or some other random shit. He always talked too much, too loudly, too enthusiastically and jumbled up his words, all while his voice cracked excessively and with the biggest smile on his face (showing lovely white teeth – wait, did you just think that about fuck-face?).

You'd always yell at him, insult him, argue with him, poke and prod and pick him apart until he finally decided to wander off (except his grin would be wider than before for some ridiculous reason). Then if he decided to play a video game with you from his own computer you'd screw him over as much as possible to try and keep him away from you. But it never work. And for some reason, you always wanted him to come back.
