Chapter 13 : Before the ball

In the morning, I woke up and I walked over to the window. I looked outside and saw that it was still dark out, like 5:00am-ish. I turned around and walked over to my suitcase and took out my clothes. I put my clothes on and ran outside running to the forest near the two walls. When I got there, I looked for the lake, then I found it. I walked to the dock and sat down, dangling my feet over the edge. Then I heard the boards creak, I turned around, got up, and pulled my wand out holding at my side. " Who's there" I demanded. Then a man came out of the bushes and revealed himself in the moonlight. " Scarlett" He said. " Stampy" I said putting my wand away then running to him. I hugged him and then said " Dont scare me...I...I could...have..hit..you with my..my w...w..wand". " Its ok" Stampy said. I pulled myself away and sat back down.

I looked up seeing a night sky and then looking down. "Scarlett remember that night" Stampy said. " yeah" I said. "Like an astronaut that's scared of heights" Stampy sang. "With a heart that's beating at the speed of light" I sang. "You've been waiting for this feeling all your life" Stampy sang. " Sometimes its just hard to realize. When your stuck in a moment" I sang. " And your spark has been stolen. This is our time to own, So own it" Stampy sang. We continued sing our song until it ended. "Haha that was so much fun" I said.
