Drops of rain falling down
A tear stained face and a frown
A birthday party left to shame
A girl crying on a porch cause no one came

Streamers and decorations now tattered & wet
So much for a party she would never forget
Is it me, am I the one to blame ?
I never had a chance, no fame to claim

Sadness and anger comes on the rise
But she looks up and finds a surprise
Her baby brother carrying a package of sorts
Her best friend, her co architect in building forts

All her troubles slowly fades away
Her little brother brought back color to her land of gray
She learns that "You don't need a crowd to lift you up"
You just hope and somebody you love
