Chapter Thirty-eight

It's time to see the baby doctor! Ya! I wanted setting simple, but yet cute. I'm wearing a pink tank-top, boyfriend jeans, a pink scarf, and pink flip flops. I can't wait and I'm so excited. "Niall?" I hollered. I didn't hear anything. I brush my hair and walked out the door.  I saw Niall sleeping peacefully on the bed. I walk over to him and press my lips to his and kiss him. He quickly responds and I know he's awake. I pull apart from the kiss and we look at each other. 

"Why are you waking me up babe?" He asked. "Because we get to see our baby today!" I said exited. "Oh yea! Let
Do get ready!" He said! Niall ran to his closet and got dressed. I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I felt an arm snake around me. I look in the mirror and see Niall. "Not much longer were gonna have a beautiful baby." He said kissing my cheek. I smiled.

Niall let go of me and brushed his teeth. While he was doing that I went down to the kitchen to get a protein bar and water bottle. I turn to sit at the table and I screamed. "Dammit Holiday you scared me." Sorry she says while eating a bowl of ceral. I sit down next to her. She looks at my breakfast. "That's all your eating?" She asks. I nodded. "Nevaeh your pregnant, you need to eat way more than that." She said. "I don't have time to make anything." I said. "When you and dad leave I'll make you breakfast." She said. I nodded.

Niall came jogging down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Ready?" He asks. I nod and get up. "You wanna come Holiday?" He asks. "I already asked and she said no." I said. "Yea I wanna stay home, next one I will though." She said smiling. Niall and I said good bye and went out the door to the car and left.

Niall pulled up I front of the building and parked. We got out and walked inside. "Hello." Says the woman behind the desk. " I will sign you in here." Niall and I both sat down I front of her. "Alright, name?" "Nevaeh Hall." She typed it in. "Date of birth?" "March 3rd." She looked at me weird. "Alright just sit down and Dr. LaBrant will be right out for you." She said.

Niall and I said thank you and we let the desk and sat in some pretty comfy chairs. "We need one of these for the bedroom." I said leaning my head back. "Why?" Niall asks. "So I can sleep in it!" He groaned. "Id rather have you sleep with me in our bed." He said. "I'm rethinking my descision." He looked confused. "Being pregnant is becoming hard to sleep in the bed with you. Every time I try to cuddle with you, the bumps in the way. Even how we sleep is hard. I toss and turn an you stay still. Sometimes I wanted to suffocate your ass because you sleep so good." I said.

Niall looked at the receptionist and said "if I'm not here tomorrow you know what happened." He said pointing to me. I hit his arm, hard to! "Ouch." "Asshole." I muttered.

"Nevaeh Hall?" Someone shouted. Niall and I got up and walked towards the voice and we soon meet with a woman in pink scrubs, the nurse. We followed her into a room and sat down. "Alright, Dr. LaBrant will be in here soon. I'm just going to get you prept. I nodded. I sat on the ultrasound chair and Niall sat beside me. "Please pull your shirt up under your bra." She said putting on gloves.

I pull my shirt up and she squirted jelly on my stomach. "Shit that's cold." I said. She and Niall both laughed. "It's nice of your dad to come with you today." The woman said. "He isn't my dad, he's my boyfriend." I said. She had a shocked expression. "I'm so sorry-" "it's alright, you didn't know." I said laughing. Inside I was hurting, he doesn't look that much older than he actually is. He unusually looks young for his age, to me apparently.

The nurse put the ultrasound wand on my stomach and moved it around in the jelly. She tried to find every way possible. "How far along are you?" The nurse asks. "Four, almost five, months." I said. She looked at me. "Don't take this wrong but you are way bigger then you should be." She said. "Thanks."

Their was a knock at the door and Dr. LaBrant walks in. "Hello Nevaeh, Niall. How's it going?" She asks. "Good, do you think we will be able to tell the gender?" I ask. She nods, "hopefully." She assured.

Dr. LaBrant took the nurses spot and the nurse left. She moved the wand around my stomach and put her glasses on and squints at the screen. "Wanna know what your having?" She asks. I nod as does Niall. "A boy, as I can tell, it looks like something is behind him." She says. Niall goes white, "is it another baby?" He asks. "Possiblely, it could be anything, a tumor or a cyst. I'll have to consider you to a doctor in the next town over, to see what it is. There is a little chance it may be another baby, but I just wanna get you checked out just Incase it's something else. It's best to be safe then sorry." She said. "But on the bright side, you have a little healthy baby boy growing in your tummy." She said. I smiled at Niall, he ,of course, looks scared. I gave him a kiss and it softened him up. "Don't worry we'll get through it." He smiled. " I know we will. I'm so excited! I can't wait to teach him how to play sports!" He said. "Me neither baby."
