Sunday Morning at 7:30

A beautiful brunette groaned as she woke up, stretched her body and got out of her king size bed, her silky brown hair that went past her shoulders were all tousled up from her deep slumber.

"Good Morning Life!" She said to herself as she grabbed a robe from her chair and put it on to cover herself up. Wearing a thin silky nightgown wasn't a proper outfit to wear if she wants to go to her veranda.

As she opened her huge glass doors and walked into the veranda, she spotted a blue bird perched on the a tree branch, not too far from her reach.

"Good morning little bird, What do you think I should do today?" She asked the bird. The bird just looked at her and flew away.

The brunette groaned "Ugh! This is so humiliating! I sounded like a girl! Such a sissy! I can't believe mother telling me to do this!"

"Shit!" she cussed. "I hate this! I don't want to stay here all day! I want to go out and do something! Not study or learn etiquette's for a proper lady!"

The 17 year old brunette's name is Diamond Serine , daughter of a famous Patisserie . She wasn't like the other girls her age, who preferred tea, dancing and boys. Diamond would choose adventure and freedom over boys and other stuffs. Ever since she was young, she had always dreamed of travelling the wild exotic and undiscovered places of the world with her best friend Sapphire.

Unfortunately, their families reputation stopped them from achieving those dreams. Being a relative to someone famous was no easy feat, Diamond didn't like it. She didn't like how the paparazzi would stalked her around waiting to get some juicy news. They wanted her to messed up big time and shame her family. They wanted to report that kind of news.

"Just ignore them Dia" Her father told her. And Diamond did that. But still, she was getting annoyed of it.

With one last look, she went back inside her room and did her morning rituals. After that she change into a simple white chiffon dress and a pair of black flats.

She went downstairs and tied her hair in a ponytail as she entered the kitchen. Her mother, a famous chef was already eating together with her father and brother Henri.

"Good morning Dia" Her father greeted her, She greeted them as well with a kiss on their cheek except for her 10 year old brother who got a pat on the head.

"Hey Sis! Where are we going today? Are we gonna climb up the Eiffel tower? Sky dive?" Henri asked excitedly as he wolfed down his breakfast.

"You aren't coming with us today" Diamond smirked when she saw her brother looked so disappointed "Today will be a private adventure between me and Sapphire"

"Why can't I come along?!" Henri whined.

"There are things that girls want to do son without boys watching them" their father chuckled "Now since you can't come along with your sister today, would you like to help me in the shop?"

"Really?! I can?!" Henri asked excitedly "Can I learn how to temper chocolates now?"

Their Father laughed "My boy, you are too young for that! Today, we'll be making simple but delicious shortcakes!"

"YES! I LOVE CAKES!" Henri yelled.

"Mother, Father, I'll leave first" Diamond said as she stood up "I still have to meet up with Sapphire"

"Do send my regards to her parents" her mother said as she left the house.

"Yes mother!"

"Those girls, they are so.....like boys" Mrs. Serine sighed "No matter how much I tell her to act like a proper lady, she still comes home all muddied up and grinning"

"She's been like that since she was a kid" Mr. Serine chuckled, he sipped his cup of cappuccino.

"Do you think she'll ever find love? What if no boy would ask her out?" the woman fretted as she paced back and forth in the kitchen. Her husband shook his head.

"Time will come" He said as he stood up and patted his wife's back.

"I do hope she finds a gentleman who would make her settle down"

"Well, good lord i she finds one cause I think she'll find someone who's like her"

Mrs. Serine paled at that. "Now, don't you worry" He grinned "Our daughter is tough! She makes her name proud!" He kissed her on the lips lightly to reassure her.

"EW! Mommy and Daddy! Stop acting lovey-dovey!" Henri whined as she ran out of the kitchen in horror of what he has seen.

The couple laughed.

When Diamond reached the park where she was supposed to meet Sapphire, she saw the blonde girl sitting on a bench asleep, dressed in a pair of white shorts, loose black shirt and a pair of white sneakers. Her long blonde hair tied in a messy bun.

She giggled as walked to her friend "Hey, Sapphie!"

The blonde opened her eyes sleepily "oh, hey Dia! So what's up for today?" Sapphire asked excitedly, all sleepiness gone in an instant the moment she saw her best friend's Cheshire grin.

Sapphire Francaise is the daughter of a famous designer and architect. Diamond grinned at her best friend, blue eyes gleaming in excitement.

"Actually I had no idea what to do today but then on my way here I saw this flyer!" She said happily, waving a yellow piece of paper in front of her blonde friend.

"hm? So what is this about?" Pale blue eyes scanned over the piece of parchment. "Am i thinking what your thinking?" Sapphire grinned at Diamond.

Diamond laughed and nodded "Girl! You are so thinking what I am thinking!" The two girls squealed in excitement "are we gonna do this?!"

"Yes we are! We might get into some serious trouble if our parents find out!" Diamond said.

Sapphire smirked "Dia, you might have forgotten something"

Diamond asked "What?"

"Trouble is last my name and getting into trouble is my forte" Sapphire laughed "This will be our biggest most coolest adventure ever!"

"I knew we were friends for a reason!" The two girls happily went on with their day, planning all the necessary arrangements for their trip.

Sapphire threw the pamphlet away since it was of no use anymore, it fell down on the dusty street, showing every passerby it's content.
