You Can't Take Him Away

Chapter 8

When we get to his house I sit Justin down on the couch. I take his jacket off and his shoes. "Let's go lay you down in your room" I say and help him into his room. I sit Justin down and go in his dresser to find him basketball shorts. I walk over to him "take off your shirt and put these on" I say handing them to him. I turn around and walk downstairs into the kitchen. I get the thermometer from the cabinet and an ice pack. I walk to Justin's room and sit on the bed. I put the ice pack on his forehead and the thermometer in his mouth. After a couple of seconds I take it out. "You have a bad fever" I say sadly. "Its ok, I have you to take care of me" Justin says grabbing my hand. "You should go to sleep" I say playing with his fingers. "Noooo" Justin groans. I kiss his cheek "Go to sleep" I say starting to walk out. "Aria" Justin says. I look back "yeah" I say "I Love You" he says. I blow him a kiss and walk out.

I slowly sit up and look around. "I fell asleep?" I say. I grab my phone and its 8:45. I gasp, "Justin!" I say. I get off the couch and run up the stairs to Justin's room and open the door. "Justin?!" I say. I look at his bed and he's not there. "Justin!" I yell. Suddenly the bathroom door opens and Justin steps out. I run over to him and hug him tightly. "Whoa!" Justin say laughing. "What's up?" Justin says. "Sorry, I woke up and it was late and then I cam-" I was interrupted by Justin kissing me. I kiss back forgetting he was sick. When he pulls back he sneezes in my face. I scrunch my face in disgust. Justin starts laughing really hard. I run into the bathroom and wash my face. "That was so not funny!" I say walking out of the bathroom. "I'm sorry" Justin says hugging me. "Why are you up! Go back to bed" I demand pointing to his bed. Justin lays down in his bed and pulls me down next to him. "Night" Justin says. "Night" I say and fall asleep.

I flutter my eyes open and I hear loud beeping. "Is that the-" I know what that beeping is when I see smoke. I jump out of the bed and run towards the stairs. "JUSTIN!" I cough. I couldn't see anything so I fall down the stairs and pass out.

I open my eyes and look around. Am I in the hospital? "Oh good your awake" The nurse says. "I'll be right back" she says and walks out. "SHES MY GIRLFRIEND!" I hear. "Justin?" I say. Justin barges through the door with a wet face and red eyes. Justin run over to me and kisses me over and over again making me laugh. "I'm so sorry this happened" Justin says crying. I tangle my fingers in his hair "it's fine Justin, it's not your fault" I say. "It is my fault! I was trying make breakfast for you when I hear something outside the house, and when I went outside I locked my self out!" Justin angrily. "Jay, it's ok I'm fine" I say leaning my forehead on his. "I swear I'm never doing anything nice for you ever again" Justin says. I laugh making Justin smile.
