The Queen

Clover POV:

"Good Morning Clover" my mom practically sang. She was saying it up the stairs the entire time because I don't like to wake up early. Believe me that was a long time of singing my name in the house. My house is really big it is like a mansion, but I shouldn't but it like that I actually live in a palace. In seven minutes I can't do anything run seven miles or hold my breath but I beat my twin brother Ace to the throne. Yep, I'm the princess of Illea. My mom and dad are the queen and king, and I have a younger brother named Brandon. He is 5 years younger than me and a older sister named Lilian she is 3 years older than me. We are the Angles.

When I was young I was really cute and shy. I was out on a walk with my older sister and I got lost. Then a guy came up next to me and asked me am I lost then he asked me where I lived. Out of habit I said the palace and his entire body, face and manners changed in a flash and he looked at me like his life depended on it. That was the first time that I felt that so meaningful and that everyone needed me, my people needed me. He took me back to the palace and he kissed me goodbye. My first kiss. Of course it was on the cheeks, but after that I never forgot the look on his face.

My mom and dad always nagged me about when I was going to get a boyfriend when was I going to get married. They always say something like "It's about time when found someone to rule beside you" I would reply "soon, very soon." Because I don't want to sit there and let them lecture me, it's so boring. Every time we talk about this, that boy appears in my head. I want to see him. I want to be able to get to know him.

I'm at the dining hall and I see happy and excited expression and I know right then that something is not right. That something is wrong but in a good way for my family but not to me! I know that I am going to go through something again and immediately my instincts are to go to Ace and ask him precisely what is going on. But I was half way there and I was interrupted by my excited looking parents. "Clover we have something to talk to you about". We have news, do you know how you always wanted to have a normal life well, we have allowed you to go to school! A private boarding high school. We will give you 5 months to find your true love. But you will have to know that Ace will be there with you. Your sister is coming to visit next week one day before you leave for school.

I hugged thanked them with excitement.
