The Story of the Most Extraordinary Bird

Part 1
A true story
Well it all started when I opened the door to my dads car from walking from school, I hopped in and after the usual greeting of hi how was your day my dad said " If you were to have a pet, what would you have?" And as any girl would say "a horse is crossed off the list isn't it?" After he gave me a look of amusement I answered " probably a bird or another dog." And after a look of thought he started the car and we went to the pet shop(pet barn) and once we got there I walked in the door and BAM! She was there... A beautiful colour of cinnamon among a dark green swarm. A cage full of green cheek conours (con-yas) but the one green cheek cinnamon mutated conour was standing out like a white rose in a bunch of red roses. Right then and there I knew that was my one pet, she was meant for me. I know how it seems ridiculous when people say my pet chose me, but this time it was true. I saw her with other people and she was nasty. But with me and my mum she wanted t stay with us... I started doing weekly visits to the pet shop for a few months making sure that nobody bought since it was my plan to buy her with the money I would got for Christmas because I normally got quite a bit of money for Christmas but ,about three weeks before Christmas , went for my weekly visit to the shop and it was just the same I went to the cage I just stared at her and the shop keeper got her out for me and after a few minutes of me playing with her and my mum talking to all the shop keepers then the shopkeeper who always looked after my needs came up to me and said sorry but she has been sold... And at the instant I started crying and I didn't stop crying till about 1 hour after I got home.
Christmas Morning
I got up like any child and ran to my parents room and said "can we go down stairs now! Please!" My parents asked ifs I could give them 10 minutes more of sleep. And then after 8 minutes I thought meh they are tired they won't noticed it has only been 8minutes so I went in again and this time I managed to get them up but they said I could go down and I went down and staring right at me was the one thing that would stay with me in pain ,in happiness... That something would stick with me like a best friend, mother, daughter. It was my childhood staring right at me. Wide eyed and squealing at me I ran down to greet my first pet, my bird. She looked so happy to have company although the first couple encounters she was a bit scared and bit everyone at least once but she fitted right in. We gave her some time to sleep while we had Christmas lunch. Once we had our lunch we sat/lied down on the floor of the lounge room trying to decide on the name for this dear little bird. Ben was content on the name 'little wing' the name of a bird my friend lost and I was really wanting to call her 'missy'. I hopped up to see what my mum was doing, I went into the kitchen to find her opening a barrel "Lady Alice' biscuits and then something snapped... I knew what I going to call this beautiful bird, I told mum to come into the lounge quickly. I got everyone together and listening to me and I said flustered" I want to call her 'Lady'" after mums Lady Alice biscuits because she is a treat for me on Christmas and so are the Lady Alice biscuits. Everyone one thought it was a brilliant name and my brother added birdie to the end and her name then on was Lady/Birdie.
When Lady Learnt To Dance and Sing
I was in my room and I was playing with my dads iPod touch that he gave to my brother who gave it to me and I was playing my favourite artist at the time, Lady. Lady's night cage as in my room for the long weekend and I was playing (oddly enough) 'Just Dance' and I was bopping my head and dancing while I was playing games on it at the same , and I saw something moving in the corner of my eye... Lady was moving along her cage bopping her head. I was first wondering if there was something wrong with her, but then I realised she was bopping her head to the beat of the music I hopped up and started to really dance .She flew to my shoulder and I started to sing and for a few she looked up and then she started to whistle and bop her head again. Then once the song changed she stopped.
She had her favourite songs which were:
In my head, Jason Derilo
Just Dance, Lady Gaga
Blow me, P!NK
