"The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realise that the situation is over, you cannot move forward."

Letting go doesn't mean that you don't care about someone anymore. It's just realizing that the only person you really have control over is yourself."

"People can be more forgiving than you can imagine. But you have to forgive yourself. Let go of what's bitter and move on."

One of the hardest decisions you'll ever face in life is wether you choose to walk away or try harder.

One of the happiest moments in life is when you let go what you can't change.

"I'm letting go, you let go long ago now is time for me to do the same."

You can't open a new chapter if you keep reading the old one.

Holding on is believing that there is a past, letting go is believing there is a future.

Never love something that you can't let go.

I think that you never love somebody, you just let go and move on.

You don't realise you love someone, until they let go and it's too late.

There is a huge difference between giving up and letting go.

Letting go is when you come to a realisation that some people were meant to be part of your history, not your destiny.

"Cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it." Justin Timberlake

Change can be good but it's hard to let go of the past.

You will find that it is necessary to let things go; simply for the reason that they are heavy. So let them go, let go of them. I tie no weights to my ankles.

Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?

I never wanted any of it to change, but that's not how life works.

What wonderful thing didn't start out scary?

Part of being human is that we can't go back, we can only hope that if we come across that moment again we'll do it the right way.

At some point you just have to let go of what you thought should happen and live in what is happening.

Life is about change. Sometimes it's painful; sometimes it's beautiful. But most of the time it is both.

Starting today I have to forget what is gone, appreciate what still remains and look forward to what's going to happen.

I can choose to let it define me, confine me, refine me, outshine me – or I can choose to move on and leave them behind me.

You live, you learn, and you upgrade.

The best can't find you until you put the worst behind you.

Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in order to move forward.

One of the hardest things to do in life is to let go of what you thought was real and see how for it really was.

You are only going to be as good as the people you surround yourself with. So be brave enough to let go of those who keep weighing you down.

If someone won't lift a finger to call you, see you, and spend time with you, it's time for you to lift five fingers and wave goodbye.

In order to move on, you must understand why you felt what you did and why you no longer need to feel it.

There comes a time when you have to choose between turning the page or closing the book.

There comes a time when you have to stop crossing oceans for people who wouldn't jump puddles for you.

If you can't figure out where you stand with someone, it might be time to stop standing, and start walking.

Sometimes it's very hard to move on, but once you move on, you'll realize it was the best decision you've ever made.

One of the most difficult choices to make is whether you should just move on or hold on a little longer.

If people have something to say about your life, that's saying little about their own. Keep your head up, stay strong, and move on.

The moment you feel like you have to prove your worth to someone is the moment you should absolutely walk away.

Be strong enough to let go and patient enough to wait for what you deserve.

Knowing when to walk away is wisdom. Being able to is courage. Walking away, with your head held high is dignity.

You can give them another chance or you can forgive, let go, and give yourself a better chance.

You know you're on the right track when you're uninterested in looking back.

You will find that it is necessary to let things go; simply for the reason that they are heavy.

One of the happiest moments ever, is when you find the courage to let go of what you can't change.

Some people come in your life just to teach you how to let go.

It happens to everyone as they grow up. You find out who you are and what you want, and then you realize that people you've known forever don't see things the way you do. So you keep the wonderful memories, but find yourself moving on.
