~Kris's POV~
Music thumped hard against my eardrums and people ran into my shoulders. I was never one to party hard and there was too many people on this bus. I shoved my way out the door a found Scarlet outside smoking.
I flicked her in the cheek "Smoking isn't good for you."
She gave me a look "Neither are panic attacks." she said, taking another hit from it.
"What are you doing out here then?" she asked.
"Mm, not fond of the crowd either."
We sat in silence for awhile, until we heard the door open and watched as 2 guys clamored out of it. One was Andy, and the other was.. uhm, shit.. well he was also in Black Veil Brides, so at least I remembered that much. Neither of them smelt of alcohol or looked too out of it.
Andy started to mess with Scarlet, and the other one laid down in the grass, staring up at the stars.
"What are you two doing out here??" Andy nagged at Scarlet. Finally she admitted that neither of us were one for confined spaces with lots of people. The other guy sat up and looked at us for a second.
"Sooooo, let's have a party of 4, in a wide open space." he gave me a cute smile, a very cute smile actually. Andy and I both nudged Scarlet, and she agreed.
"Hey CC, will you go grab us some drinks from in the bus?" Andy asked the other guy. CC got up and ran inside, soon returning with his arms filled with Monsters and a blanket. Andy led, and we ran into the field that the stages were set up in earlier that day. CC laid out the blanket and we all piled on to it, looking up at the stars. We shared stories and giggles before our peace was interrupted by.. Andy screeching and running away from the blanket .
"What the hell is wrong with you Gazelle man?" I laughed at him
"Something weird was on me.. I think it was a bug." He stood there all pouty and obviously freaked out. We all shook our heads at him, but he refused to come back. Scarlet hopped up and dust off her legs.
"Andy and I are gonna go hangout somewhere that no weird things can crawl upon him. Wanna come?"
I was gonna say sure, but was cut of by CC "Nah, we'll hang here." he said with a little smile. I shrugged and Scarlet gave me a wink before running off with Andy.
"So Kristen, heh, what do you see up there?" CC pointed up to the sky, twinkling with pretty stars.
I giggled and focused on the sky, trying to make shapes out of the diamonds. "Hmmm, ooh look, there's a turtle." I said pointing up.
"That's not a turtle Kris. That is a tortoise. Get your facts straight, blondey." He teased me and flipped my hair.
I told him to shut up and playfully hit his chest. "Okay, Mr. Tortoise. What do you see?"
He stayed silent for a moment and then said "I see part of my universe, the only thing I know is certain as well as the most daunting pit of unknown. I see beauty... Oh, and a kitty, right there, look." CC giggled, but I was still processing what he had said, I just smiled. We played I Spy sorts of games and talked for awhile before we decided I should get back to my bus. While we were walking, I felt warm finger tips brush my palm and find their way between my fingers. I blushed a little has he took hold of my hand, and just continued to walk.
We reached my bus, and he stood outside the door with me like we had just come from a date. He smiled at me and I returned it.
"Have a nice time tonight?" he asked sort of shyly, I smiled and nodded quickly, which forced the corners of his lips to rise. "Heh, goodnight Kristen" With that he leaned in slowly, let his nose brush mine, but kissed my cheek near my ear. I blushed hard and did my best to stay composed, "Goodnight CC." I watched him stroll away from my bus, before practically floating inside. I checked Scarlet's bunk, still not back yet, I shrugged and cuddled up in mine, Welcome to Warped Tour indeed.
