My Possessive and Protective Alpha Mate

Just a normal day

Katy's POV

I looked at myself in the mirror before I grabbed my keys and headed out of my medium sized apartment to go to work. Once I was down in the lobby I said

"Bye Hank see you in a few hours"

He smiled and said

"goodbye Katy, have fun at work"

I smiled at the Hank who's the door man and then walked out to were my car was. I got in my car and drove to work.

Once at work I walked in the fancy restaurant and changed into my uniform I took out my note pad and pen and put on my apron. I walked into the kitchen and said

"hey Molly, what's for tonight?"

She smiled at me and said

"well tonight we have a special of 4 wines and 6 cheeses plate or a special of soup and salad"

I smiled at my best friend and the head chef of the restaurant and said

"thanks you're the best I'll be back with orders"

"check out the sexy men for me"

I laughed at my best friend and walked out the kitchen door and went to the private area we have reserved for the rich who can afford that space. I was the head waitress for that specific area.

I walked into the room and saw the rest of the waiters setting up the places. 'looks like we're going to have a big group today'  I thought to myself. I smiled at everyone and said

"Okay guys! let's do what we always do and serve an amazing meal to the filthy rich! Don't forget your smiles!"

They all smiled at me and we all laughed together, then we all became serious and started the evening.

We all stood to the side waiting for the group to enter the room. When the group entered we where all stunned, 3 very beautiful girls walked in and 4 super hot guys walked in after them. They all sat down and that's when I stepped forwards in front of the group and smiled and said

"Welcome, tonight our specials are a plate of 4 wines and 6 cheeses or a special soup and salad"

A man with blond hair and brown eyes spoke and he said

"we will have 2 orders of the wine and cheese plates"

I smile and nod and wright it down on my note pad and then excuse myself to go to the kitchen to give Molly the order. I walk into the kitchen and say

"Molly hot men alert!"

She comes in running from the back and she says

"were, were?!"

I laugh and say

"come bring in 2 orders of wine and cheese and you'll see"

She smiled and I walked back out and back into the room. The waiters where all poring water for those who wanted it and I smiled at them and they smiled back. I stood back at the front quietly and everyone else chatted as the waiters resumed their positions on the sides.

I looked up and made eye contact with one guy, who stayed quiet, he was very well built black hair bright green or blue eyes I couldn't tell I was too far away. Molly came in with the food and I helped her give out the glasses and plates. The waiters set down the food and they opened the bottles of wine, I was pulling back my hand from setting down a glass when the fire of a candle burnt my forearm. I hissed and pulled back and the guy that I was looking at earlier stood up and quickly and he came over to me and asked

"are you okay?"

I almost moaned at hearing his deep sexy voice and when I looked up into his eyes I saw that they where a mix of green and blue. The room was silent, everyone was looking at us. I nodded but he looked at my arm and he then took some ice out of his glass and placed it on the burn, I thanked him and looked down at my burn. The burn wasn't bad just a little red.

Molly came over to me and asked

"are you okay?"

I nodded and pulled away from the guy and quickly left the room with Molly following behind me and the waiters returned to their places after re-organising the table. 

Once Molly and I where in the kitchen we just spent the rest of the night in there with me putting ice on my arm and Molly cooking and us talking. Just another normal day.
