Broken past
Chapter 2
Throwing all my books into my super-dry bag as i walk out of my art lesson and towards lunch,
I swing open the door to see all the high school stereotypes around,
The jocks and the cheerleaders,
more to be known as the popular people, them being bang in the centre of the hall, towards the end were the nerds and geeks, who's lives revolved around work.
On the left were the wanna be populars and to the right corner were the musicians, they didn't look like hippies like movies describe them, they actually look like quite cool people, i really wish i could play a musical instrument but when i try i fail epically.
My eyes wondered back to the popular kids tables and i could help but to realise that Adien was there too, i would have expected him to be popular, none the less; i don't know the guy apart from the fact that he will be working with me but i couldn't help but to feel weird by the fact that a blonde bimbo had her arm wrapped around his neck, he looked rather uncomfortable from my point if view,
It was funny how nothing really changed from high school, we are all pretty much the same people but we've matured age wise.
I walk towards the queue for my food but to my disappointment the queue was quite long, i run my hand though my hair accidentally bumping my elbow into someone,
"Ow! Girl you have some sharp elbows, much like knives."
I turned around to be greeted by bright blue eyes that belonged to my best friend,
"Cathy! i haven't talked to you all day, ive been busy with all my work."
"Same here, i never realised school would be so hard."
"I wish it would be easier."
I looked back ahead and the line had been moving pretty fast and it was my turn next,
The lady called out
"NEXT!"
I eagerly ran up to the cashier and ordered a meat burger and chilly
cheese fries and a diet coke, i got my food and Cathy told me to go find us a table to sit on, looking down at my delicious food as i walked around to find a table and i accidentally bump into someone and drop my food all over her white shirt,
"Oh, my god! Im so sorry!
I didn't see you there"
So much for not being known as a klutz, i looked up and saw a familiar blonde girl, it was the girl that had her arm about Adien, the whole lunch hall went silent, im guessing shes the queen bee? Cathy came running to me as the girl shouted
"Just forget it!" she threw daggers at me with her piercing green eyes, they were much colder than Adien's as she ran out,
I looked up to see Adien smirking he gave me the thumbs up as we left our remains of food on his table, as we walk out the hall with dazzling smiles on our faces, before we got out the hall i shouted "oh yeah, Adien meet me outside at three pm sharp!"
"Yeah, its a date!"
My cheeks tinted a light shade of pink
"Sure thing!"
With that we swung the cafeteria door's open and started walking towards the main entrance;
"What was that all about?"
