The Eternal Kiss(Honeyphos)(S)

He knew they were coming.

He knew the would destroy the world.

He knew all his friends would die.

He had to save them.

What could he do?

He had a lab. A lab that could keep them safe.

He built cloning vats, to keep them in stasis for as long as he needed.

He went for the people he knew that he wouldn't realized disappeared.

He made clones for them as to not make him suspicious.

He then went for everyone else.

He would ask, "Where did they go?"

He would simply say, "They went away for the day, they will be back tomorrow."

He could clone them and send them back, like nothing had happened.

His main concern was him. The one he loved most, would be the hardest to give up.

He had known him all his life.

He was the first person to help him on this strange planet.

He was the one who bandaged him up when he got hurt.

He loved him.

Xephos loved Honeydew.

When Xephos first brought Honeydew to the lab, he was cautious about what Honeydew saw. In the end, he did show Honeydew the cloning room.

He stood and waited while Honeydew walked around.

Xephos knew what he felt like. Looking at all your friends from a glass case. Some of them looked terrified, some relieved.

When Honeydew came back to him, Xephos pulled him into a hug and held him.

"Why did you do this, Xephos," Honeydew mumbled into Xephos' chest.

"I am doing this to save you all." Xephos felt his shirt become damp as he pulled Honeydew closer, slowly backing them into one of the cloning vats.

Honeydew stepped in as did Xephos. He reached behind him to shut the glass over both of them.

He kneeled down to Honeydew's eyes and said, "I want to be with you forever."

The vat started to fill up while the two stared at each other's eyes. Honeydew held Xephos' chin and pulled him into a sweet kiss.

They both closed their eyes as the vat froze them solid, keeping them in an eternal kiss.
