*after the picnic*
Cam's POV
We we're heading home, Kara fast asleep. I guess I was caught in my thoughts for too long, because I did realize a semi-truck crashed into my car. The last thing I remember is seeing Kara covered in blood, then everything going black, faint sirens in the distance.
I woke up in a hospital bed, many wires and IV's in my arms. I saw Kara, her eyes still shut, and she was on a breathing tube as well as IV's.
The doctor walked in, and asked if everything was alright. "No, what happened to Kara?" I replied, worry clearly shown in my words. He calmly stated she was in a coma, and could possibly wake up with amnesia. Meaning she wouldn't remember anything, she wouldn't remember me, she wouldn't remember us.
