I sat on the floor crying. I couldn't believe I just witnessed my own mothers death. I wonder what she was telling that foul man, was she protecting me? If she was, what did this man want from me? *KNOCK KNOCK* I rushed to my room in terror, I grabbed the first weapon I could find under my bed.... It was a fully loaded shot gun. "Wow since when did I have a gun, my mother must've known this man was coming." I whispered as sweat dripped down my face. More than anything I was worried that whoever was knocking on my door was more dangerous that my shot gun. I crept silently down my stairs until I came to a stop, infront of me was my giant dark wooden door. I had three front doors, a wooden, wire and then a tinted one which meant that who ever was outside couldn't see me but I could see them. All my life I had spent behind these doors never really understanding how dangerous the outside world was. Today I found out only a part of what life was like, I surely wasn't looking forward to another death, so I opened the door to see one of my childhood friends standing there. Allison, smiling as usual, even though she was my best friend I couldn't open the door. At this point in time I didn't trust anyone anymore... I looked directly into her eyes, they were so watery I wondered what from and her smile looked forced not normal at all. I moved to a different angle realising on her back was a knife and a timer. It looked like when the timer would finish the knife would plunge into her heart. A gasp escaped my mouth, I didn't want to see my best friend die... Not after what I had just witnessed. The air felt heavy around me, at the last second a timer behind Allison started beeping. Her time was up. I closed the door nd my eyes trying to block out all noises, I heard her last words, "Alyssa watch out! I love you." I cried once again another person close to me had died. WHAT DID THIS MAN WANT FROM ME! I made sure to look under my bed for any other weapons, I found a few more bigger guns with a whole heap more ammo and heaps of sorts of knives/swords. I kneeled down next to my bed said a few words to God. The sat in my room all alone, realising that everyone I ever loved was in danger. It felt wrong to think another human being could do such a cold thing, but what I've witnessed was horrifying but real. Another cry left my mouth, gasping for breath I lay on my bed... Slowly everything faded away and I feel into a deep dream.
