"We believe in ordinary acts of bravery, in the courage that drives one person to stand up for another."
-Will; Veronica Roth

Okay so not many people realize what this quote is saying. If you just watched the movie people say it and then it is over; you didn't think about what Veronica is actually trying to say. That's the things about movies you listen to things and see things and then... it's gone. (I'm not being a hater on movie goers!! I love movies myself I am just listing cons about that experience) When in books you can sit there turn the page and indulge yourself into the authors words that they so ever cared for us that they wrote them on paper. What Veronica is trying to capture is a quote that the ancestors came up with to capture Dauntless' essence. Dauntless isn't about bravery to jump off a cliff or being able to shot a gun like a professional or even being able to guard the city from... nothing. (Haha all that for nothing) Those are just facade's that the ancestors put up for them to continue out their experiment with no suspicion of what's on the other side of the wall. But that quote it is meaning that dauntless used to be about being the one you stood up for someone while they were getting bullied. Say for example an Erudite was being a butthole to an Abnegation, it was Dauntless' job to protect them from the Erudite. So if you look at it Dauntless are suppose to be a stronger civilization of Amity. Sure they had a job of protecting the city unlike Amity but their real job was protecting the people inside of the city. So when the new generation to Dauntless' laws and twisted them into what they believe they should and wanted to be.

That was my opinion so you sort of got a rant and a quote together. If you have any recommendations of what I should rant about I am open to them just comment in the comment section.

Love you all, ✌🏼️out.
