I apologise now for being so late uploading. I’ve been so busy finishing exams, leaving school then prom I forgot, then I didn’t know what to write, I really want to say sorry. So, today I spent my time writing this so I really hope you like it, I’m sorry again if you don’t like it I can always change it.
Your POV
“HOW COULD YOU?” Louis shouts as you both walk into his and Harry’s apartment one evening. You both had been best friends for a long time, it was only recently when you realised you had feelings for him and tonight you confessed to him how you felt. You knew he was with Eleanor but the other boys had convinced you that he liked you back and that you should tell him how you felt. So you did.
“HOW COULD I WHAT? I THOUGHT IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO?” You screech back, keeping the tears in, you was so embarrassed. You really thought that maybe he liked you back? Just maybe, the boys were right and you two could be together.
“AND TELL ME, WHAT WAS THE RIGHT THING?” He replies back now looking at you, before he had refused to look at you. You really didn’t understand why he was acting like this, sure he was with Eleanor but wasn’t it better to say to him, than keep it a secret?
“I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU’RE MAKING THIS SUCH A BIG DEAL? Now you know how I feel…” You shout getting quieter at the end. You just wanted to leave, you had already made a fool out of yourself, and there was no way he would want to be with you now? His expression softens for a minute before he gets all confused.
“I love Eleanor, Okay? I’m with her; I have been for the last year and a half.” Louis explains looking at you, stepping closer. You wanted to cry, you wanted this to be a dream, and that you two could go back to how things were before. You just look down refusing to look or even talk as if you did you would bust out crying and that was one thing you didn’t want to do.
“Tiff, I’m sorry... Look at me?” He goes now putting a finger under your chin causing you to have to look at him. You didn’t want to talk to him, you couldn’t.
“I – I have to go!” You say, pushing him away slightly and running towards the front door.
“Tiff, wait!” You hear him calling your name, but you couldn’t stand being there anymore, so as tears fall rapidly down your face you ran home, it was only a 5 minute walk to your house. You completely ignored everyone when you finally got home making you way up to your bedroom, slamming the door behind you, sliding down the wall you cry yourself to sleep that night.
1 month later
It had now been a month since the argument that happened between you and Louis. You hadn’t spoken to any of the boys since. You wanted to, but it was hard knowing that the one person you love didn’t love you back even if he was your best friend. You had been moping around in your room refusing to come out, your parents managed to drag you out for dinner but soon afterwards you go straight upstairs locking yourself in again.
It was now a Friday, and your parents were making you come with them out to dinner. As much as you didn't and refused to go, they were still taking you. Seeing as you looked a mess from all the crying you had done, you decide to get ready and get in the shower.
Within 15 minutes you were out, you had decided to wear a thin strap black vest top, blue skinny jeans, black heels with your favourite black leather jacket. You curl the ends of your hair, applying a small amount of make - up. Grabbing your phone and bag, you make your way down stairs. Not looking forward to this evening at all.
"Why is he here?" You ask barely audible, but your parents had heard.
"Look, Tiff. You two need to talk, I don't exactly know what happened between you two. But I know it's hurting you and well you need to sort out with him. Please Tiff? Your not the only one that was hurt by with whatever happened?" Your dad explains stepping forward, giving you a pleading look.
"Fine. I'll talk to him." You say gulping, you hadn't spoken to him or any of the boys, and you did regret it as they did nothing wrong.
"Good. Now come on." He replies, grabbing your hand and pulling you slightly with him.
"Hey, Tiff!" Liam goes as you walk over to the boys table, your parents went over to another table to give you guys some privacy. You give them a small smile, not knowing what to do.
"We'll give you some space, come on guys. Let's go." He continues, Harry, Zayn and Niall all get up and leave to sit on a few tables away from you.
"Hey Lou." You say quietly, still standing, looking at him. He smiles as he looks up to you. Louis gives you a signal to sit down, so you do. You didn't know this would be so awkward.
"I'm sorry." You speak up after a few minutes, Louis looks at you confused.
"Why are you sorry?" He asks, you look at him and sigh.
"I shouldn't have told you, I should have stayed quiet. I knew you were happy with Eleanor. Now, I've ruined our friendship. I've probably ruined everything." You explain, a tear slipping down from your eye, you look down.
"Hey... Don't cry..." Louis tells you, wiping away the tear with his thumb, and lifting your face up to look at him. "I'm the one that's sorry. You only told me how you felt, I was a jerk to you. I never realised how much it would have hurt you, I didn't think about your feelings, only mine. I'm sorry Tiff, I truely am." He continues, rambling on a bit. You smile slightly, but only slightly.
"It alright." You return, you were always and have been a forgiving person.
"It's not alright, Tiff. Yeah, I was with Eleanor. But I should have listened to you, not ignore you." He goes, you could see the guilt in his eyes.
"Wait, was?" You ask. You were now the confused one.
"Yeah... I broke up with Eleanor the day after our argument. After you left, it made me realise that I did love you, I was just to afraid to admit it." Louis explains to you smiling sheepishly, continuing to look at you. This moment right here. Was perfect to you.
"Can I try something?" He asks, now shyly.
"What Lou?" You ask softly. Before you know his lips were against yours. At first you were shocked but then you kissed you back, they both fit perfectly against each other. You could feel the sparks between you, as the kiss got deeper, you had to remember you were leaning over the table in a restaurant. You could hear the boys cheering you both, smiling against Lous lips, you pull back, in need of air, resting your forehead against his, you both say.
"Wow." Still smiling. You couldn't believe. You just had your first kiss with Louis.
"What now?" You ask softly staring into his blue eyes.
"Well, Tiffany. Would you do the honours of becoming my girlfriend?" He asks, looking hopeful. You smile becomes even bigger.
"I would love to." You reply, giving him a kiss.
"I love you." He says, looking at you with a cheesy grin.
"I love you too." You return giving him another peck. It wasn't long before the boys and you parents came over to you. You had almost forgotten that your parents were here, so you were slightly embarrassed at what they had just witnessed, but after they told you they were happy for you. You got over it.
The rest of the day, you spent it with Louis and that was just the start of your wonderful relationship :D
