Ashleys POV:
Excitement flooded through me as I raced through the forest. We'd been training for 2 years and this was the final test to see if I was ready. I heard Kisa in the trees above me and pushed myself to go faster. I knew what was coming and as we approached the huge drop that was the gorge, I launched myself into the air at full speed and still mid-air, shifted to my wolf form. I saw the other side getting closer and then... THUD! I landed safely and perfectly on all four feet. I stopped to take a few breaths and glanced at Kisa who had just landed beside me in her panther form. Well that was fun Ember yelped happily. I grinned a wolfy grin at Kisa who just blinked her eyes and twitched an ear in response. Cub, I believe that we are now ready for the next step. She stated proudly. I nodded and watched in glee as she began to lead me into the forest. I can't wait to see the alpha of the rogues. Sighed Ember. What why? I asked. oh you'll see. Ember said mysteriously. Before I could ask anything else Kisa told us we have arrived. Be cautious and stay close to me or you may be mistaken for a threat. They know who I am and any friends of mine are not to be touched unless they want to see what I can do with my pretty little claws. I nodded and glanced around warily. We carried on walking and the further we walked, the more I got the feeling of being watched. That's probably just the rogues ash, but still be careful muttered Ember. I continued to follow Kisa for a few more minutes until finally she stopped outside a small grey stoned building in the centre of a clearing. I glanced around us and saw the glinting of wolf eyes among the trees that surrounded us. We were right in the open and I was slightly creeped out so I crept a tiny bit closer to Kisa who seemed to be waiting for something.
"Ah, Kisa what a lovely surprise." A deep voice said from nowhere. "Come inside and introduce your wolf friend. There's clothes ready for you which I hope are suitable." I watched as Kisa swished her tail and then walked through the entrance to the building. I quickly followed and found a pile of clothes about my size placed next to where Kisa was getting dressed. After we had dressed in the clothes provided, Kisa led us down a staircase and into a brightly lit room. The stone walls were covered with animal furs to make it warm, a large wooden table was in the centre and at the end of the table was a man who looked to be in his 20's.
The man smiled warmly and hugged Kisa who let out a small sigh of content. Pulling away from the hug she turned gesturing to me and said "this is Ashley, Ashley this is my friend and alpha of the rogues, Tristan." I smiled politely and held my hand out. Tristan grinned cheekily, grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him. As I collided with his chest he smiled a toothy grin which showed of his fangs. I let out a gasp and jolted back as I realised what he was. "Tristan, stop playing with her. She is not to be touched, you hear me?" Said Kisa in a pretend stern tone. Tristan winked at me and said "Aw you're no fun Kisa, I was really looking forward to it." I gulped and pushed away my fear as both Tristan and Kisa struggled to keep a straight face. The fake tension in the room broke as they burst out laughing. After another half hour of catching up we finally sat down and began to talk business."We have a proposition for you, it is definitely worth listening to and I know you would want to agree with our terms however we would need your complete and utter trust." Kisa said in her firm, no nonsense voice. "Ok, I'm listening." Tristan replied seriously. Kisa nodded and continued "We are going to need a large army to help us in our quest to take down the riverside pack and their alpha." I saw a glint of excitement appear in his eyes when the riverside pack was mentioned. He was definitely in. "I'm in, no doubt at all in my mind, I will be happy to help you every step of the way." He rushed out, eagerness dripping from each word. "So what's the plan?" He grinned and looked at Kisa, then to me and then back again. I smiled widely and began to go over the plan we had prepared over the last few months. "Genius! Absolutely genius!" He exclaimed. "I'm absolutely, 100%, all for this plan. We'll get started with training as soon as we can." I blushed as he continued to praise the plan and Kisa gave me a proud look. Well my cub, it seems like we are one more step closer to unleashing our wrath on that unsuspecting pack of mongrels. She said via mind-link. I smiled and looked at the floor as my face began to flush red. "Now, it's getting late so let's have something to eat and then we should all get some rest. Tomorrow will be a busy day." Tristan rambled, oblivious to the fact that neither of us had been listening. Kisa smirked and said "yes but remember what I said, Ashley is not for you." Tristan let out a chuckle and threw his arm across my shoulders and pulled me into his side and said "ok don't worry, she's safe from me." I just shook my head and rolled my eyes.
