Elmo~~
"Guys, I really don't wanna do this right now." I whined as my friends shoved me in the backseat of the car. They didn't seem to be listening to me as they got in and started squealing about how this was going to be fun. I, on the other hand, sat quietly and plotted ways to get out of this. I could tell them that I would watch The Vampire Diaries from now on? Nah, they wouldn't believe it, I used that way too much.
After searching my brain for some other different ways, I finally came to the conclusion that I should just tuck and roll out of the car. Just as I was about to, I heard the loud click of the door. Looking at the now locked door, I turned to glare at Danielle. She just smirked and winked back in response, making me huff in annoyance and slumping in my seat.
"Oh cheer up Ellemarie, this is going to be fun. Just think how Jonah will react when he sees how hot you look." Nicole wriggled her eyebrows at me.
Ah, Jonah Rivers, one of the rare guys that actually talked to me. He is one of the jocks at me school, but he's also really sweet and funny. He was one of the guys that didn't really care about stereo types, which is why he talked to me even when his friends beat on him about it. He was also the guy I have a major crush on, but knowing me I'll probably never tell him or act on it. That's just me; I'd rather fake a relationship in my head than actually put my feelings out there and take a chance.
"Shut up." I muttered, crossing my arms as a small blush crept onto my cheeks. They knew I liked Jonah, and they're using it against me.
"We're here!" I looked up and, sure enough, we were parked in front of our local mall.
Oh, this is going to be torture.

After endless hours of shopping and trying a thousand clothes on, we finally went back home where my refrigerator was calling my name.
"Oh Crystal, how I've missed you." I cried exaggeratingly, throwing my arms around my fridge with a sigh. Yes I name my fridge, don't judge.
"You're so weird Elmo." Danielle laughed, leaving the bags on the floor for me to carry. Oh what great friends I have.
"But you love me anyways." I replied, sticking my tongue out at her. Reaching into the fridge, I pulled out three leftover chocolate chip Nutella cupcakes my mom made. My mom is a professional chef, so she constantly brings new recipes and test them out on us. It's a blessing and a curse really, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
"Hmm, these cupcakes are the bomb! Are you sure your mom isn't looking to adopt?" Nicole praised, devouring every last bite of it. She was joking, but I could tell there was some hint of seriousness to her tone. Her mom died when she was little, and her dad is in prison so she's an orphan. It was hard for all of us, since we've been best friends since birth but we've grown closer and we've been inseparable ever since.
"I'm sure she would love to, but there is not a big enough fridge anywhere in the world to fit all the food you will no doubt devour and still be hungry." I replied, grinning while she flipped me off.
"So you guys wanna just have a movie marathon? I'm not really up for going home just yet." Dani asked, and we all agreed and moved up to my bedroom. I'll just wait till my mom yells at me to pick up those bags.
