Two years later.
8th grade year.

She had told him so any times how much she liked him. He always say the same words, "I love you like a sister, and nothing more." Every time it crushed her, but she was stubborn and refused to give in.

September 28th Later in the day.

Hannah: So, things with Austin still iffy.

Kaitlyn: When are they not.

They sat down by the cheerleaders as both of "their boys" ran out on the field. It was a beautiful fall night, a beautiful night for a football game.

Football Announcer: And Austin Land is the ball carrier for a jaguars touchdown.

She hears his name and jumps up cheering and shouting with joy. As she sits back down she can't help but notice he was watching her. She turned away knowing her face was as red as could be.

Hannah: Kaitlyn, you're so cute.

Kaitlyn: Nope, he probably thinks I am crazy now.

..........

Football Announcer: Thanks folks for coming out tonight. Have a wonderful night.

She stands with Hannah and Faith as they wait for the team to come out. The moment she saw him her face lit up. He jogged towards her and hugged her. She wrapped her arms around his neck.

Kaitlyn: You did an amazing job.

Austin: Thank you.

Austins parents called him to go. He told her he would message her as soon as she got home. She couldn't wait for that moment.

She rode home with Faith and couldn't help but talk about how amazing he was. Because to her, he was her everything.

They were in her room as she talked Faiths ears of waiting for him to message her. The moment he messaged him, she dropped everything. They had a normal conversation like usual talking about their days, their family's.

Austin: can I tell you something?

Kaitlyn: Of course, Anything.

Austin: Kaitlyn, i really like you and i always have. I have been to scared to admit it. Today when i saw you cheering for me in the stands made me realize i want to be with you. Will you be my girlfriend?

Kaitlyn read the message a million times and she didnt think it was true. Her dreams had come true.

Kaitlyn: Yes yes, a million times yes

Her and faith jumped with joy and she couldn't have been any happier in that moment.

They continued their conversation all night. When they said their good nights she went to bed with a huge smile in her face. She was finally truly happy.
