Now, I know most of y'all do not know this woman, but she's the creator of Neosoul and Blues, not Erykah Badu. As much as I love fellow Pisces Erykah Badu, I love me some damn Meshell Ndegeocello. My mother would play her music in the car when I was younger 24/7. Her voice is just so smooth, like water casted down by gravity which we call a light drizzle of rain. I'm not a nigga afraid to be different and she taught me that. Her music isn't about hits which is why y'all probably do not know her. You know they say the best music isn't the mainstream. I urge whoever that craves deep neosoul/blues music, listen to Meshell. Doesn't her name by itself sound so eccentric. Just had to give her credit for shaping parts of my personality.
