When we meet

I groaned.
Ping!
Go away!
Ping!
Urgh I hate social media.
I shifted onto my side and reached out blindly for my phone on my bedside table.
Ping!
Yes yes I'm coming!
My fingers closed around the cold piece of metal and dragged it off the table and towards my face. Prying my eyes open I pressed the home button of my iPhone 6. Bad decision.
The light from the screen shone right into my eyes. Blinding me as I hissed like a vampire. I am not a person to wake up during the night!
I quickly fumbled with the controls blindly and soon the light behind my closed eyes dimmed. I guess I hit the right button.
I tentatively open one eye before opening both and unlocking the phone.

I flicked through my screens trying to find the source of my awakening when my eyes settled on my Instagram. A small 1 in a red bubble sat on it's right corner. I frowned. I was not really the popular girl and I only ever got a maximum of four likes per photo if I was lucky.
Curious, I tapped on the icon and waited for it to load. I clicked on my notifications and gasped.
No.Fucking.Way.
I closed my eyes tightly and opened them again to make sure I was awake and this was real. There was the notification saying that my favourite account had liked my picture. @theEvilQueenstacos. I had been following her for ages now, I loved the pictures she posted and the edits she made of my favourite TV show Once Upon A Tine. And now she had liked my picture! This could not be happening.
I felt a grin spread across my face as I clicked on the message button and began typing...
OMG you liked my picture! Sorry I'm going to have a fangirl moment because your account is amazing!!
Send.
I smiled as I locked my phone and placed it back on my bedside table. This was great.

That Instagram account is mine, I am not bragging about my edits I just wanted to use mine so I was not using anyone else's without their permission.
