Chapter 1

It was midnight and Caroline was waiting up for her beloved Tyler, she found it hard to believe that Klaus loved her enough to let Tyler be free. How was it that she managed to get compasion out of an original vampire? It was almost 1.00am when finally Tyler arrived. Caroline hugged him tightly as Tyler promised that he'd never leave her side ever again. "I've missed you so much" said Caroline trying not to let her emotions get the better of her. "I've missed you too Car, now lets go to bed."

He grasped her waist tightly as he carried her up the stairs and gently placed her on the bed. He sat beside her as she cuddled into him. His hands softly swooping through her hair and sliding down the side of her face. " I do love you Tyler" Caroline said trying to keep her eyes open. " I know baby, I love you too" he replied in a sweet voice, and just like that the pair were dosing of to sleep.

*Klaus' House*

"How could I be so stupid, letting Tyler Lockwood back into the picture" screamed Klause as he slings back a shot of Bourbon. His eyes turned a yellowish colour as he throws his shot glass at the wall. Suddenly, Rebekah enters the room trying to calm Klaus down. " What's wrong Nik?" she asks in a soothing tone. " Shut up Rebekah, this is none of your business" he screams. "I'm your sister, everything that happens to you is my business, everytime I try to be there for you, you push me away" replys Rebekah fighting to hold back the tears. " Oh, you do moan don't you, you and your drama queen ways never seize to amaze me, I wish that I kept the dagger in you, so that I wouldn't have to hear the sound of your annoying voice," says Klaus. Rebekah storms out in a massive rage with tears streaming down her face.            

Klaus draggs his body up the stairs and gets into bed, thinking about all of the awful things he said to his sister. "It was her fault" he mumbles to himself "she can't know how I feel about Caroline", and as he closes his eyes one tear streams down his face.
