I woke up and rolled over onto my side, grabbing my phone and reading the unread messages I had. 

Vienna said: " Morning Babe " I tossed my phone onto the small counter next to my bed. Not bothering to reply she was probably out shopping or out somewhere with Athena ( her best friend ) . I stretched and got out of my bed grabbing my laptop on my way to the kitchen. I poured myself some cereal and sat down to eat. I logged onto my face-book scrolling through my news feed. 

' Vienna says: ugh Cramps. Going to stay in all day sleeping blah!!! meanwhile Athena is going out with Kevin.

Bruno Guevara says: SIKED TO BE BACK IN MY OLD TOWN, GOING TO CATCH UP WITH ALL MY OLD FRIENDS AND HAVE SOME FUN THIS SUMMER WOO-OH! STAYING AT MY OLD HOUSE COME OVER AND SAY HI! '

 I spit out half of my cereal and stared at the screen shocked he.. he was here? again my old best friend came back?! I forgot I even had him as a friend on face book but the fact that he's back! I looked around my room panicking I needed to go see him to see how he was. Are we still friends? pfft OF COURSE WE ARE! we had been so close since forever. I turned back to my laptop cursing under my breathe I had spilled milk all over my keyboard and it was starting to stick. I grabbed a cloth and lightly wiped it off with a towel. Eh well looks like I'm getting anew computer too. I ran to my room and went straight to look for some clothes. I pulled out some faded jeans , a black t shirt, and my sweater. What if he didn't like what I was wearing? I brushed the thought off and went into the bathroom stripping off my clothes and hopping into the warm water. I took a quick shower and got out combed my hair and let it dry as I cleaned up a bit . Once I was finished I grabbed the keys to my car, and my cellphone. I drove down the small town trying to remember how to get to Bruno's old house. I quickly found the road leading to his small house and turned onto it. The house coming up almost immediately. I stopped the car and just sat there what now? what if he didn't want to talk to me? what if he forgot about me... about us our friendship. I smirked to myself and climbed out of the car, walking towards his front door. I hesitated Should I knock? should I just call out for him? sigh* YOU NEED TO PULL YOUR SHIT TOGETHER JASON! I knocked two times when a cute, short girl with blue hair opened the door. who was she? Bruno didn't have any sisters?  

" Hi " She looked at me unexpectedly I stared back at her still wondering who she was until I realized I had to say something. " OH! em.. h.hey is uhh Bruno home? I'm his old friend and I just wanted to come say hi and oh my names ja.." I was cut off by Bruno screaming my name out and running towards the door. "JASON!! OH MY GOD IT'S BEEN FOREVER COME IN DUDE ! " He ran to me and embraced me in a hug. yep he remembers me alright I held him tightly hugging him back I had missed him I truly did. we separated and gave each other a small smile I looked at the girl again she looked young about our age.. maybe younger. I looked at Bruno again wow he hadn't changed well his hair was a bit longer but he still had those piercing hazel eyes that I for so long mis.. wait what!? what am I saying oh god no eww I'm not g..gay I have a girlfriend and he probably does to wtf am I doing. " oh jason this is my girlfriend Lide ... um Lide this is Jason he is my best friend we've been close since we were like 5 ha ha .. um Jas you want something to drink or to eat? how are things with you ? Let me go get us a beer and you can tell what has been going on since I left OK " he walked out of the room so this was his girlfriend.. huh he has a girlfriend. well that was just wonderful! superb! really I don't even know why I'm so fucking mad I mean I have a girlfriend we all do ! Why am I all of a sudden all bitchy ugh! I groaned internally as Lide got up, and Bruno walked in." I'm going to go unpack some of my things OK love I'll leave you two have your guy talk. " She smiled and went over to give bruno a kiss. I grimaced and turned away quickly wtf is wrong with me he's my best friend not my lover! Bruno came and sat down across from me handing me a cold beer. we immediately started talking not a moment of silence between us it was as if he had never left us." So how are things huh? Are things looking better ? are you better? " He came over and sat next to me putting his arm around me I gave him a sly smile. "wee-ell I mean you left when we were only 14 and everything kinda went downhill from there but I found out I had a brother a few years later and he has helped a lot and well my girlfriend Vienna is so sweet she's always there and yeah She moved a few months ago out here and brought her best friend Athena along because they can't live without each other ! seriously ha ha but yeah they have helped  alot  and yeah life got a bit better after those hardships how about you? Is everything alright " I looked him over trying to see what he was really thinking but he looked so calm.. so happy " I've been good. You know I missed you I never stop thinking about you How we would play until sundown and then some or how good you made me feel about myself and if I never messaged you was because I thought you moved on and that maybe I should do the same I mean we most likely weren't ever going to see each other and yeah I'm sorry but our friendship was always present. And well I met Lide and things got way better she helped me a lot. When I finally turned 18 this year I decided I wasn't going to stay at my house any longer and so I decided to come back here." We talked and talked catching up on everything until I decided it was time to head back home, Kevin was probably already there and we had to get some dinner maybe I would pick up Vienna and invite her over too. I said my goodbyes to Bruno and Lide and went home, picking up some Chinese food. I called Vienna to ask her if she wanted to come over. 

Riing Riing Peerrring! 

" hello? " She answered sounding like she had just woken from a deep sleep. " hey I picked up some Chinese food and I have movies at home bring Athena too if you want sorry I haven't texted you or anything I went over to see an old friend and we kinda got lost in our convo" I stopped myself before I went ranting about Bruno. " oh it's ok I've been sleeping the whole day and Athena was out the whole day she just got here but OK pick us up we'll go over see you in a bit love." I smiled and hang up driving over to the nearest store to pick her some Ice-cream and junk food because I knew that would help with her cramps. I picked both of them up Athena complaining about never being able to get any sleep because we always made last minute plans. We got home shortly after , maybe I should have invited Bruno over to. 

We ate our food and laughed and  joked around, only my mind was somewhere else through the entire dinner. I took Vienna and Ath home after we watched 2 movies and spilled popcorn all over the house. I went back home tired and with my mind still far away. These coming months would be truly amazing since I now had my best friend back.
