She lay in bed silently sobbing as she hear her brother's screams coming from the other side of the door. The sound of ripping flesh filled her ears as she silently sobbed. Her heart pounded faster as his screams stopped. They had heard her. Suddenly things started to bang and tear at the door. she screamed hoping they wouldn't get in. She lay shaking in bed praying they wouldn't get in. She looked at the ceiling in terror as sounds of foot steps flooded the roof. She could tell someone was limping.
"no... please no!"she cried as the sounds around her got louder.
She looked over at her door and saw the face of her mother, all bloody and dead. Her worse fear now had come true. Zombies, and a crap-ton of them. They started to bust down the door she tried moving back but she was pressed to the wall with nothing to defend herself with. She screamed as the door became weaker and weaker almost ready to break. The foot steps on the roof came near to her window, the was wide open. She hadn't noticed it, they were on the top floor, how could they get on the roof?the door came crashing down and she screamed again, running to the opposite end of her room as the un-dead crawled and limped into her room. She grabbed a book and smashed one Zombie's head in, it lay motionless on the floor. Two zombie's surrounded it's fallen comrade and began to tear his flesh off his bones. It was a gruesome sight. She grabbed her keyboard, which she swung and knocked off another zombie's leg. They where easy to kill, already decaying, so she thought. as she continued to grab things around her room trying to fend them off, she backed into the window.
"Stay away from me!" she screamed swinging a stereo around smashing a zombie in the face. Suddenly she felt something grab her from the window. As she tried to fight the zombie around her neck off two more came and bit chunks of meat off her bones. She let out a horrid scream as they ripped her body apart eating all they could from her and their fallen comrades.
He landed on the roof with his 9mm in hand and a 12mm machine gun on his back, his hunting knife in his pocket. he signaled the Helicopter to wait as she shot down two Zombie's, laughing as the fell off the roof. He had heard the screams and found one one zombie having a meal from the window. He aimed down and shot her right through the head killer her instantly. he shot her again and jumped down, kicking her off the roof. He looked in the window and revolted as he saw only the face of what was once a 13 year old girl being devoured by the undead. He was too late for her. Quickly he ran up the roof and kicked down the latter some of the Zombie's where using to climb up on. His buddies in the Helicopter threw down a latter for him. As she climbed up he dropped a grenade into the window and sighed as it blew up. He got into the copter and sat down feeling helpless.
"you can't save everyone Haru."
He looked at his friend, "That doesn't keep me from trying."
