Chapter 1 Meeting the group

It all started three years ago, three years ago was the last time I ever got to say goodbye to my family. They got ripped out of my arms by the Zs. I had the listen to my mum,dad and my little sister and brother cry from getting bitten by the Zs, and the worse thing about it was I couldn't help I was stuck killing more then 20 of them. every night for about a year I cried myself to sleep thinking about them. I was 15 when it all started and that was the most horrible thing I had to go though.

Today was May 26th and I was in my new truck I stoled ten days ago. I spotted a group of 8 people three girls and five boys, they where all fighting off 30 Zs and because I was in a happy mood that I found other people I decided to stop and help. I got out of my truck and shouted over to them, to make their way to my truck and one by one they did, then they where doing that i got my new rifle and started shooting the Zs when I got to the last Z the group of 8 was by my side. 'Hey my names Summer' I said turning to them, 'hey thanks for the help' said a man with brown hair, who looks like the boss of the group, 'my names Garnett and this is Warren,Addy,Mack,Cassandra,Doc,Murphy and 10K'. When I first looked at 10K I thought I was in heaven, he is FIT with his black hair and gray/blue eyes. 'Hey Summer you can join us if you want' said Warren, I looked over at Warren and seen her smirking at me and 10K with the rest of the group. Me and 10K looked at each other and blush and looked away. 'Sure we can take my truck' I said to warren. Warren,Garnett,Cassandra,Murphy and Doc went in their truck and me,10K,Addy and Mack went in my one, when Cassandra and Doc went past us Doc said to 10K 'when we get to a new house for the night use protection' and Cassandra laughed and winked at me, both me and 10K blushed after that and the rest of the group laughed even Murphy.
When we all got in the two trucks me and Garnett driving, we had a walkie talkie talking to each other and having fun. Two hours later we pulled up to a big house we all got out and walked up to the house, after we made sure that the house had no Zs in it and made sure it was safe for us all to sleep in, there was five bedrooms and a kitchen full of food and water in and the best part is that we had runner water. Warren putted us in pairs of two Addy and Mack had a bedroom (Double bed),Doc and Murphy had a room (twin beds),Garnett and Warren had the parents room (king bed) and Cassandra had the room with one bed (single) it was just me and 10K left with the last bedroom the double bed, we both looked at each other again then Warren said we would be sharing a bedroom when I looked at 10K he was all ready looking at me, when he noticed I was looking at him, he looked away blushing. After we all had food and we where on the sofas laughing and telling jokes I got too tired and was falling asleep, I felt someone poking me and looked over and seen is was Addy, 'go to bed and sleep Summer, you look tried' she said after she said that everyone looked at me. 'Ye your right' I said back to Addy she just smiled at me in return I got up and started going to the stairs I could hear Doc telling 10K to go with me, after I got up the stairs I heard someone coming up them too I looked behind me and seen it was 10K, 'hey' he said in a sleepy voice 'hi' I said back even more sleepy, and together we walked to the end of the hallway to the last bedroom witch was ours now, I opened the door and went in 10K closed the door after him and went to the bed and asked me 'is it ok if i could sleep in my boxers or its it like weird for you'  I just smiled at him and said back to him 'sleep in what you like but don't sleep naked' after I said that 10K went red and I laughed I went the the bathroom and got changed in a long top and shorts and claimed in to my side of the bed when 10K just got in bed we heard addy shouted to us 'Summer, 10K use protection' we could hear everyone laugh, 10K shouted back to Addy 'you and Mack use protection' Mack shouted back 'we do' 10K looked at me all red and I laughed I little because he looked cute when he blushes, 'what are you laughing about' 10K asked me 'you, your face is so red it's redder that a tomato' I said to him and if anything his face got more red. I let out a small yawn 'go to sleep' 10K told me, I nodded my head and said 'goodnight 10K' and I heard 10K say back 'goodnight beautiful' after that I remember falling asleep in 10Ks arms with a smile on my face.
