vingt deux

Luke sunk back into his chair, tapping his right foot against the carpeted floor as his glare burnt right through Claudia's skull. She was just causally sipping on her morning tea, ignoring the death glares from Luke.

"When are you gonna stop doing that?"

"When you grow up and fucking fess up." Luke shot back, jolting up from his seat out of instinct, ready to attack.

"Please, stop acting like you've been betrayed, it was an open relationship. Deal with it." She retorted, brushing some stray strands out of her face.

Luke snarled, his fists clenched by his sides. "I can't believe you."

Claudia stood up, returning the gesture. "I wasn't gonna let you have all of him for yourself, you should've known better." A smug smirk played at her lips, her heels mutedly clicked as she made her way to the exit.

Luke tugged on his blond locks, letting out a frustrated grunt, kicking his chair off balance.

Luke repeatedly stabbed his spoon through the frozen cotton candy ice cream tub, muttering incoherent words under his breath, and stuffing his mouth with the iced goodness.

"Stupid fucking- motherfucking cocksucker-"

"I'm feeling the love, thanks." Luke straightened his back, as he heard Michael's voice from his opened balcony.

"Why are you here?" Luke snapped, his back still facing Michael. The blonde heard his footsteps getting closer, he gripped his spoon tightly.

"I dunno, guess to say goodbye? I'm leaving for Berlin tomorrow morning." The older boy shrugged, stuffing his hands into his pockets.

There was a moment of silence between them, neither of the two had something to say really.

"What?" Luke whispered to himself, watching his ice cream melt right before his eyes.

"I'll just get going now." Michael's footsteps got further, making the loneliness cave in through Luke's chest. Before he knew it, he was getting out of his seat, his arms wrapping around Michael's torso.

"I fucking hate you." Luke mumbled into Michaels chest, closing his eyes savoring the sweet scent of the faux-blonde.

Michael burst into laughter. "I can see that." Ruffling Luke's messy hair, giving it a light peck.

"I kinda like you, just saying." He shrugged, awkwardly looking around the room, trying to make the uncomfortable sensation in his body go away. Luke giggled, making Michael's heart involuntarily flutter like a schoolgirl, causing him to cringe a little.

"Guess I kinda like you, too."
