Can I Love Again?

Their first conversation

Khadija's pov
It feels like i've been in this boring class for years now! Only fifteen minutes to go i tell myself!
I take a look around and see jazzy who is so bored that she's doodling all over her hand and then at the corner of my eyes i can see Ali almost dozing off. His eyes were closed and his head on the table. I couldn't help but giggle a bit and then he shot up hearing my laughter. He grins and whispers, "Oh my Allah! I nearly fell asleep! Is he always that boring?"
I chuckle, "All the time" i answer.

Class over. Finally!

Jazzy and I made our way to the usual bench we would sit when it's break and lunch.  "Oh no! I almost forgot! I have an assigment to give in like right now! You stay here, i'll give the assigment and be right back." Says jazzy
I nod and with that she went and i was scrolling through my phone when a figure stood right in front of me.

I look up to see who it was and my heart starts beating when i see the one and only Ali standing there! Why was he here? He was only sitting beside me in class. And why is my heart starting to beat so rapidly?  All these questions going through my mind and then did i realise that there was a awkward silence between us.

He decided to break the silence. "Uhh hey!" He says with a grin. Oh My Allah why is his grin so cute that i could stare at it forever? I snap out of my gaze and reply back "Hey! Err take a seat"
He took a seat opposite me
"I'm so lost" he says which makes us both start laughing.
"You are cute when you laugh! He whispered but i heared it and smiled. Obviously along with the smile i turn red like a tomato too! Why!!??

"Im back yo!" Jazzy startles us as she comes back. She looked at Ali and went extremely nervous and confused.
"Err hey" she says and he said it back.
"I'm going to go now, bye errr-"
"Khadija"
"And errr-"
"Jasmine"
"Nice talking to you!"
After he was a good distance away jazzy screamed "TELL ME EVERYTHING"
And so i did eventhough there wasn't anything fascinating.
