Chapter 1
It was a cold night; hail tapped on the ceiling and wind shook the windows. Detective Samuel Gordon was sitting in his big comfy chair in front of the warm, snug fire, dancing in the fireplace. He had just comeback from a holiday in Spain, it was beautiful and sunny in Spain, the sun beating down on every soul on the beach, warming up the bright blue, gleaming sea all cool and calm, people playing games and getting a tan. But as far as Gordon was concerned, he just wanted to go back to his job as a police detective, catching criminals. He ad been trying to catch a certain gang for years, but he had found no clues to link the crimes to the suspects!
The reason for this is that the “gang” had been hiring assassins to kill their biggest competition, because of this the streets are infested with crime; assault, murder are all a danger for any citizen, most people have left the city looking for a better life. Many police officers have left. Only a brave phew remain.
The only reason why detective Gordon had stayed is because he believed this city could be cleaned up and it could be3come a good place, but this would take a long time to accomplish! There is one gang that was at the centre of all crime in the city. They were clever, well thought out. All the agents we have sent in undercover have come back in body bags.
