Mackenzies POV

"And now we have Mackenzie. You need to perfect any solo I give you wheather it's lyrical or an acro jazz number. When Maddie was your age she could perfect any solo and even when she was younger than you."

I don't want to be like Maddie I thought. I just hate when people compare me to Maddie. I don't why I'm on the bottom row if I won first in my solo last week. The pyramid was also a bit off today. People are not normally in these spots. It went like this:

Maddie
Brooke Paige
Me Nia  Chloe

Chloe shouldn't be on the bottom at all. She did the best last week.

" I will be giving out three solos this week. They go to Maddie, Chloe and Brooke. Maddie your solo is called I'm not the only one. It's a contemporary lyrical number. Chloe yours is a contemporary number called When fire burns. Lastly, Brooke. Your number is also contemporary and it's called Stepping High." Abby called out.

"Our group number is called Let Me Free. Mackenzie you are the lead."

What how can that happen. I was on the bottom row on pyramid. HOW!

Abby's POV

POINT YOUR TOES NIA!!!! I screamed hoping she would do the correction. She didn't so I screamed at her again, DO THE CORRECTIONS I TELL YOU NIA!!!!

Mackenzie was doing OK in they lead but I need her to step up her game. Gia I said telling her to turn off the music. Mackenzie instead of doing a side ariel can you do a front ariel. Thanks. She just nodded her head looking worried.

We went through the dance again and then BOOM! Mackenzie lands on her butt doing the front ariel. Gia stopped the music and I told Mackenzie to stop fooling around. Maddie would never fall during rehearsal.
