[ashley's pov]another night.
another city.
another show.
don't get me wrong, I love performing. knowing that songs I've written can help someone else is one of the best feeling sin the world. but, it just gets kinda old sometimes, you know?
with all of this moving around, I just want to find something that's constant.
I'm missing something.
or someone. . .

[y/n's pov]florida. fucking. sucks.
in the three weeks since school had ended, the only people I've seen are my parents, my sister, and my thoroughly annoying coworkers.
I'd expected this summer to be full of adventure and new experiences, but so far, that didn't seem likely.
los angeles, or any other big city really, would be so much more exciting than my run-down hometown.
I wish I could just get a flight over to cali. sure, I didn't have much money, but there were probably plenty of jobs.
if all else fails, I could always just follow the cheesy movie cliche of falling in love with a singer. . .

thanks so much for reading. xx
