Chapter 2

*ETHAN POV*

I just saw Margaret Hanley run down the hall crying. Holy Shit, it hurts me to see her cry. I have a secret crush on her and no one knows, not even Grayson. Not even my mother. She probably doesn't even know I'm alive. But she's so beautiful. And I mean it, red hair, blue eyes, tons of freckles. Crazy beautiful. Maybe even more beautiful than Jenna. 

Anyways. The bell is going to ring in 1 minute. I better run to class, my class is on the other side of the school. I have Algebra 1st hour, maybe Jenna or Margaret are in my class. I sure hope so. I don't think Grayson is, I'm pretty sure he has Health 1st hour. 

I make it to class just as the bell rings, I sit down in my table and sure enough, Jenna AND Margaret are in my class! Both of them sit right behind me, at the same table. I decide to pass a note to Jenna hoping she will write back. She doesn't, she's a straight-A student, so she likes to stay focused. So I write to Margaret. The note says "Hey Maggie, we should talk sometime."

*Margaret POV* 

Ethan just passed me a note!! Ahhh I'm freaking out. I try to hide it inside of me, I keep thinking, Mags no emotions, no emotions. Even better, I open the note and it says, "Hey Maggie, we should talk sometime." I can't help it, I let out a little peep. Mr. Kingsley, the Algebra teacher, looks at me and asks what I'm so excited about. "Nothing", I say really fast. Mr. Kingsley looks suspicious, but he moves on. Thank goodness!  I write back to Ethan. "Hey Ethan, yeah would should talk, that would be cool." I hand it up to Ethan and hope Mr. Kingsley doesn't see me. 

*Skip 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hour*

I'm pretty sure 10th and 11th grade have lunch together. If they do I have the chance of talking to Ethan again! Maybe he'll sit by me! That would be great. I go to Lindsey's locker and we walk to lunch together. We usually sit alone but today there is too many people and all the tables are full. So we grab lunch and decide to sit by Ethan. He's not sitting with Jenna today so maybe they broke up? "Hey Ethan" I say, "Hey maggie." "Where's Jenna?" "Oh she got really mad at me for giving you that note, but whatever, it was worth it." "Oh I see. Why's she mad? We're just friends." 

*Skip the rest of the school day*

*Ethan POV*

So I just got home and I can't stop thinking about Maggie. I love her so much but I don't want to tell Jenna. All she would do is bitch slap me. And if you knew Jenna, you would know that she's very strong. She beat the toughest guy in school in an arm wrestle. So I'm not gonna mess with her. 

*Skip to 9:30 P.M*

Shoot, it's 9:35 already? Wow. Okay well I better do some homework. Tonight I have algebra homework, Physics homework, and History homework.

*Margaret POV*

I'm stuck on my algebra homework. I think I'm gonna call Ethan. (phone's dialing) "Hello?" Ethan said "Hey Ethan, I'm stuck on number 36 on our homework." "Oh okay I can help you out if you want." "Yeah that would be great Ethan :)" 

*Skip The Help*

It's already 10:30 and I have all my homework done. So I'm just going to go to sleep. I might as well wake up early again.

*Ethan's POV*

I'm going to sleep. It's 11 and even though there's still 8 hours until I have to wake up, I want to look good for Maggie tomorrow.
