The Confrence

When we stepped out of the car and shut the door it drove away. I'm now getting more frightened by the second especially with the dream/nightmare. She started walking away, "where are you going?" "I'm going to the tree, didn't your mom ever read you the stories about how to get into a secret cave hidden in the middle of the woods." It sounded bad when she put it like that but, I do remember the stories, you have to stand in front of the biggest tree and look right into the hole in the tree and, if you're supposed to be there a door will open up. "Those were just fairy tales, fake stories, not real." I refuse to believe any of this it can't be true it's all fake. "Really?" She gave me the look saying you should try it then. "I mean you won't find anything if it's not true." She had a point if I didn't find anything then we could just forget all of this ever happened, but what if it worked? I started walking around until I found what seemed to be the largest tree, but the hole was too high up. "I can't reach the hole." I stated hoping she would just sigh and we would leave but, she didn't. Katy sighed and ran, more like blurred up the tree. "Come on, get up here." She said as if what she did wasn't completely impossible. "I can't do that, are you crazy I'll break my neck!" "You'll be fine, just run and jump and you'll be right here." I was bit hesitant because I still don't trust her but, I backed up ran and jumped and, sure enough I was right next to her. Wow! That was amazing! "Well..." She said as she looked at the hole. "Are you sure it's safe K?" Even though I don't want to trust her I can't help it, shes my best friend and I'm scared. So I looked into the hole and didn't see anything. That got my hopes up because that meant maybe it was all just one big prank. A door on the side of the tree slid open. This is anything but a prank.
