Hidden Angels

Part Four

I get to Alex's house, when I knock on the door I hear the screaming of all his sibling running to see who could get to the door faster.

" I got it" Alex's younger brother calls.

"No I got it" his younger sister screams.

Finally the door opened and I see Alex, his younger brother Ryan, And his younger sister Sofi, waiting to greet who ever was at the door.

" Oh it's just Emily..." Ryan says a walks away from the door.

" EMILY!!!!!" Sofi yells and runs to me.

" Hi Sof" I say squatting down to hug her. She was only five so I had to get down on her level to see her beautiful blue eyes. 

" Hi Alex," I say standing up pushing a stray strand of hair out of my face.

" Hey Em, want to go up stair, the house is a little crazy right now." He says stepping out of the door way. His house was big, he had the bed room upstairs and his brother and sister have the middle floor room. 

I walk across the open "mud room" as his father called the room before entering the house, it was for the shoes and things that would make his mother insane if they were inside the gorgeous house. We walk up the stairs, I could smell his mothers cooking, she was baking a cake for Ryan's birthday tomorrow. His mother had short hair that was as straight a board, her dark hair pulled up in a short stubby ponytail. 

His father comes rushing around the corner , almost running into me, 

" oh excuse me Emily" his voice was deep and his blonde hair was done up for work. He was a sales man for one of the big internet company, his tall, lean figure that reminded me of Alex.

" Oh no it's okay." I respond with a smile.

" nice to see you, but I have to run" he says pulling me in for a hug and patting Alex on the head. He was like my second dad, he loved me like his daughter. He was always making me laugh and happy.

" Nice to see you to..." I say as he walks out the door. I turn back to Alex and we continue up the stairs to Alex's room.
