I followed the light, it seemed so far away. Everything outside seemed familiar, but like many things had been changed. I could tell where my house was supposed to be, but it was missing. I felt drawn to this light, and the closer I got to it realized that it was a fire. Why would their be a fire this late, and where are the houses? The street lights? Anything? "HELLO?" I screamed, and I seen people. I ran towards them, but I don't think they see me. There had been two girls and a few older men, and it was like I was invisible to them. I waved, jumped, and even touched them but they were oblivious to the fact that I was here.

The girls sat down, and the men returned. They were all in a large circle around the fire, holding hands. One girl started with an unfamiliar incantation, and her eyes landed right on me. A flash of recognition flashed in her eyes, but as soon as it came it was gone. Soon after the one who could see me started the rest followed, chanting louder and faster each time. Fire blazing in the middle, it began to grow and twist higher into the sky. I walked closer to the fire, but I could not feel it's heat. I thought I had seen a face, but I don't know. It's hard to tell since I am behind the women. I stepped through the circle of people and confirmed that there was a face in the now twelve foot fire. It was the face of some sort of half animal half human thing. I was terrified at the least, wouldn't you have been? I stumbled back and tripped over something, but just a minute ago I could walk through the humans. I became dizzy and fell, when I woke I was still where I had been but the normal surroundings were back.

This one particular instance really made me think I was insane, at first I didn't believe it. I had been drinking, and probably had one too many. I just couldn't accept the fact that something I never believed in read happening to me. The only thing that set it aside from insanity is that I woke with a small vial in my hand. A vial that I still gave to this day, in fact. It sits in a box that my dear pastor blessed for me. He is a very kind man, the one who helped me cleanse myself and grow my relationship with God.
