I flew high above a small, sleepy town. Everything looked so peaceful down there. But that was probably because it was already after midnight. But still... This place was working kind of soothing. Maybe I should stay here for a while... Just to come back to my senses. The thought of that was really tempting.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I got out of bed and got dressed in a black skinny and a my We Are The In Crowd jumper. After that, I brushed my teeth and did my hair. Once I was ready, I went downstairs and ate breakfast before heading to school. Since I didn't life to far from school, I walked there.
"Audrey!" My best friend shouted from across the street. I looked up at her when she crossed the street, we would walk to school together.
"Hey, Ivory!" I said to her while I gave her a hug.
"Did you hear the news?" She asked me.
"What news?" I asked her.
"Well the news about the new student. " she said.
My eyes grew big. In this town, a new student was to he honest really exciting news. Because Really nothing happened in here.
"A new student? Really?" I replied to her.
"Yeah! I hope it's a hot guy... This town really needs some hot guys." She said, sort of more to herself. We talked about how he could look like and what kind of clothes he would wear.
Ten minutes later we arrived at school. Ivory and I went to our classes. She had Chemistry, and I had English the first period. I walked in the classroom and sat down at one of the seats in back. There would no one bother me. I took my books out and looked at them for a while.
"Boys, girls. Please be quiet for a while." My teacher started. I looked up from my books and looked at my teacher. Right next to him, there stood a boy. He was quite pale and had black hair. And he had this amazing green eyes. He was probably the new student.
"Meet the new student, Cameron Briel." My teacher continued.
"Cameron, why don't you go sit over there?" He said as he pointed at the seat right in front of me. Cameron nodded and sat down in front of me. I was staring at his back, and somehow he must've felt it because he turned around and stared at me. "Uhm... Hi?" I managed to get out.
"Hi.." He said, and turned back around.
Finally the period was over and I could get away from here. But before I could get out of the classroom my teacher asked me:" Audrey, do you want to show Cameron around?"
"Uhm... Of course."
"So, Cameron right?" I said to him while I walked him to his next class which was apparently the same as mine.
"Yeah. But I would appreciate it if you called me Cam. I like it better that way."
"Ok, fine." I replied.
He stared at me a couple of seconds before I realized he was waiting for me to introduce myself.
"Oh yeah. Right... I'm Audrey. Audrey Dean." I said ,feeling my cheeks turn red. "Nice to meet you, Audrey. But you don't have to show me around. I can help myself. I know you only said you would show me around because you couldn't say no to your teacher." He said. After he said that, he turned around and sat down at one of the seats as far away from me as he could. That boy was really strange and mysterious yet interesting.
