"I am partners with Callie Sanders. Who's that?" Asked Ty Dalton.
"Me." I whispered. Raising my hand up so as not to draw to much attention to my face.
"Alrighty, nerd girl it is. Glad I didn't get stuck with my friends. I love them to death, but they ain't exactly the brightest stars, if you catch my drift." He smiled.
I couldn't help but smile back. I was mesmerized by everything he said.
"We can meet up at the library tonight at 7 to work on this project. I don't understand anything about atoms so maybe you could catch me up on my 9th grade year."
And just like that, the bell rang and he was gone.

Ty Dalton.I had had a crush on him since 8th grade. He was nice, athletic, good looking, and outgoing. The complete opposite of me, but that didn't stop the crush from forming.
I had written so many letters over the years hoping to tell him my feelings, only to have them buried deep in the back of my diary (three ring binder), the one place no one in my house would dare look.
The thing is, back in 8th grade, I thought I was going to grow out if the awkward stage, not into it. So as I got older I came to the realization that the letters would never be delivered. They would never be laughed at when we were reminiscing how,we got together on dates. They would just simply be painful reminders of what could never be.

I had just left math. My only friends had gone on the volleyball bus for the tame and had to leave me alone, defenseless. I maneuvered my way through the hall, trying not to crash into random strangers.
    Thump! Crash!
"Hey loser watch were your going!" Shanna snorted.
I simply nodded picked up my stuff from the floor and scurried off. No one, not anyone, dared back sass the queen bee.
So I continued on to my locker, but when I arrived I was in a state of horrific shock. I had lost my diary.
