Chapter 1

(A/N:Once again listen to the song while reading it really sets the tone. I'll be doing this in other chapters)

Laura's POV

Ross ran up to our room and slammed the door. He does know I have the key to that room, right?

"I'm gonna go check on him" I said and ran to his door while knocking "What the hell do you want?" He asked.

Okay I have to admit that got me mad so I kicked down the door "WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU IS TALKING TO LIKE THAT?! IM YOUR FUCKING WIFE YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TALK TO ME LIKE THAT"

He jut sat there in the corner of his bed with his face in his hands. I rolled my eyes and walked to him "Ross why are you acting like this?"

"Why are you acting like this Laura, Huh?" He asked standing up.

"How am I acting?" I asked.

"You're acting like such a bitch. This is my dream and you know it is you just can't tell me not to go" He said.

"Well I'm sorry for caring about our daughter" I said raising my voice.

"The problem is that your not caring about Lauren you're caring about you and only you" He said also raising his voice.

"Listen if you think the reason I don't want you to go is because of me then think again because I DON'T CARE" I said and walked out of the room.

Ross' POV

Did she really mean that? Did she really not care? All of these thoughts ran through my mind and then I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in" I said looking at the wall still speechless.

"Hey bro you okay?" Rydel asked sitting next to me.

I nodded.

"I know you're not, what did you say to Laura? she's crying her eyes out" Rydel said.

"She's crying? What the hell she just told me she didn't care if I left and now she's crying. Man I will never understand women" I said raising my voice.

"Well you have to start because you have one of your own and you're creating a beautiful and developed one out there. I know it's hard but trust me it's not gonna get any easier, I'm telling  you this because I'm a woman myself and I you just have to understand that this is also hard for Laura, you're leaving her for God knows how long. Just wait and see she'll come back" Rydel said.

"Well right now I don't know what to do because we leave tomorrow" I said.

"Like I said just wait" She said.

"Hold on, how are you not mad at this?" I asked.

"Because Ratliff and I already talked about this and I understand that this is his dream" She simply said.

"Ugh why can't Laura be like you. I swear if you weren't my sister I would totally date you" I said.

She chuckled "Well fe bad for ya bro cuz even if we weren't siblings I wouldn't date you"

~Next Day~

Right now everyone was in the airport except for Laura which got me worried because my flight leaves in a couple of minutes.

"Where's Laura? I'm worried" I asked.

"I didn't see her in her room today" Ratliff said.

I sighed and sat back on the chair.

"Flight 2024 to London, Paris boarding now" The woman in the speaker said.

I looked at the tv and it said 'Flight 2326 to Shanghai boarding in 17 minutes'.

I put my face in hand but after 10 minutes or so I felt someone sit next to me.

"It's gonna be okay" They whispered.

I looked up and saw Laura sitting next to me.

"LAURIE! I thought you wouldn't come" I yelled hugging her.

"Are you crazy were not gonna see eachother for years and you think I'm not going to say goodbye to you? Plus I'm your wife and you're my husband" She said pulling away.

"I love you" I said caressing her face.

"I love you too" She said.

After that we kissed for like 5 minutes but I felt someone tap my shoulder.

I turned around to see Ratliff telling me we have to go. I turn back to Laura to see her crying.

"No, no, no please tell me there's more time" I said tearing up.

"Flight 2326 to Shanghai is now boarding" The woman said.

"Fuck no please" I yelled tearing up. I hugged Laura tighter while we cried into eachother.

A minute or two later we had to say goodbye to my family so I did and went back to Laura.

"I'm gonna miss you baby" I whispered.

She was sobbing "Me too and I-I'm sorry for getting so mad at..."

"Second to last call for flight 2326 to Shanghai" The woman said.

I broke down in tears "Guess that's my cue"

"Guess that is" She said sniffing and looking down.

"Hey hey we could still FaceTime, talk, and text everyday" I said lifting her chin up.

"Or whenever you're available. Ross you're going to be a Soldier you're not gonna have time for your family everyday" She said.

"Last call to flight 2326 to Shanghai" The woman said one last time.

I looked down and Ratliff tapped my shoulder "It's time man"

I kissed Laura one more time and hugged Lauren. I stood up and took my bags.

While I was giving my plane ticket to the lady.

I looked back one last time and knew.

I'm not going to see them again.
