"Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine to the mind."

Kara was preparing breakfast when her telephone rang. She immediately turned off the burner and reached for her phone. She then tucked it between her left shoulder and ear.
"Hello, good morning. It's Kara." She answered.
"Why are you not picking up your cellphone? I've been calling it for minutes!" Sophie said.
She slipped the omelette from the pan to her plate. She sprinkled a lot of parmesan cheese on it and some chopped parsley.
"I'm sorry. I was making breakfast. I don't know why but suddenly, I want to cook breakfast for myself." She said before laughing.
"That's good for you. At least you won't complain having an acid reflux today for skipping breakfast or lunch because you just forgot to,"
I smiled. "Yes and why did you call by the way?" She asked. It's not like Sophie to call at this time of the morning for something unimportant.
"Please be here at our office by two. Our client will be here by two-thirty." She said.
"Oh," She mumbled. She forgot about the meeting today.
"I know. You forgot. That's why I'm calling you now to remind you."
"He-he. Thanks, Soph. I will be there by that time. Bye." She said putting the telephone back.
Kara hurriedly finished her breakfast and went to her walk-in closet to find an outfit. She pulled out a dress that barely reached her knees. It was light peach with thin white stripes design. She also went for a white suit blazer. She put a little bit of makeup just right to emphasize her dark grey eyes and natural raspberry-colored lips. She doesn't really wear lipstick at work. She simply put on a lip balm most of the times.
Satisfied on the way she looked, she took out her nude pumps with fine gems on its heels. She already prepared her orange Hermes Birkin Bag before having breakfast.
"Good for a no-longer virgin twenty-eight year old," She chuckled before closing her doors.
"Damn good!" Leah exclaimed as she ran her hands in her bare neck.
Irish giggled and quickly tossing her hand to stop Leah. They were talking about Leah's hot and steamy sex with a celebrity after she left her at Sophie's party. She said she and the guy made out in the backseat of his car.
"Stop it, Leah! Don't forget there's a virgin in the room!" Irish said eyeing her. She felt herself blushed. Is she gonna tell the girls she isn't anymore?
She was about to speak when suddenly the door flung open. Sophie came inside and a tall man with broad shoulders followed her inside.
She could feel her heart started to pound abnormally in her chest. This couldn't be, she said to herself. There she is, about to tell her friends about her vcard she gave away to a random stranger at the heat of Sophie's birthday celebration and after two days, finding herself being in a room with that same stranger in their office.
She couldn't be wrong. Though his face changed maybe because of a day-old stubble she could spot in his jaws. She remembered it soft when she touched it as they kissed. The memories of his face and how it looked under the moonlight never left her mind.
