After Yasuo talked to riven at Arcadia Bay they kept talking and talking about how he got here why he's here and who he's finding Yasuo answered her and told her that he was looking for a wind blade user that killed someone from his village or town called Ionia after that question they went outside and Riven showed Yasuo that she had a very special blade that uses wind like him after she said that Yasuo realised that she killed the old man from chapter 1 Yasuo said:YOU YOUR THE ONE THAT KILLED THE OLD MAN THAT I WAS SUPPOSE TO PROTECT AND FRAMED ME FOR KILLING HIM YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE RIVEN DIE!!!!!!
Riven accepted to fight and accepted his challenge after a long battle they were exhausted and Yasuo decided to not kill and get revenge from riven cause even if he gets revenge he won't get the old man's life back so after Yasuo had riven on the ground he helped her up and asked if he could join him on his journey Riven accepted and told Yasuo that she's been banished from Ionia too so they had a journey to find a place that they could call home.
