Our heros story begins in the "Dunes". This is one of the many human hideouts that are scattered across the land. The clan that resides here are the Okami. This clan had been around for centuries. Almost as long as the zeros. They raised wolf companions that helped them hunt. They naturally had black hair and purple eyes but the most unique thing about them was their sharp teeth. Our hero was born in the dunes. Her family was hated in the clan but that was only because she was born. The clan had named her Shi short for Shi no ko which translates to "Child of Death". Unlike all of the other clan members Shi had pale skin, Snow White hair and scarlet red eyes. Shi was also the first owl in the okami clan. But these were just small reasons she was hated. The main reason was that the day she was born most of the clan got slaughtered by the zeros. Her mother was one of the victims.
