What do they know?

I was pleasantly suprised as I read through the fanfic, They Don't Know About Us . It was well written and had an amazing plotline. The only thing that scared me is how real it felt. And the title, it seemed fairly relevant. For the past year or so, ever since mine and Zo's first collaboration on YouTube, the viewers had decided that we were hiding something from them; that we were in a romantic relationship. We had decided to say that we were "Friendzoning" eachother in our 2013 Valentines Day video. But after we finished filming, something happened. Something we spoke of often, to be exact.

"Alfie, you were fantastic. Thanks for doing this with me!"

"Any time, Zo. You know I love doing collabs with you."

It was then that I had realised how nicely her hair fell on her shoulders, and how pretty she looked in that jumper, and how pretty she was. And how much I was attracted to her. I spoke without thinking:

"Zoe, I don't want to be friends." Her shocked face caused me to rethink that statement. "I mean, I don't want to be just friends. I think I'm in love with you." I gently held her hands and slowly moved in closer. "How do you feel, Zo?"

"Oh Alf. I love you, too."

Her soft lips touched mine with tenderness and caution; I put my hand on the back of her neck and pulled her closer to me. We broke apart after what seemed like an eternity, and when we looked at eachother, we were thinking the same thing.

"So, what happens now?" Zoe looked inquisitively at me, her eyes wide as her smile.

"I think that we should continue kissing."

It was our first kiss. Or, kisses, to be exact. But thinking about that day and how this fanfiction made me feel put a thought in my mind. I went to her ask box and wrote her a quick note.

I'm working on the next few pieces of the story. It's not quite what I'd like it to be but I really wanted to write it down. Please feel free to give me some constructive criticsm. I may come back and rewrite pieces, so be prepared if it's not the same the next time you read it. If you choose to come back, of course.

I hope to update at least every other day during the summer, but it's the end of the year, so it could be difficult to write.

Thanks for reading! xx
