"Oh my god, another person! Finally!" Jonah cheers. The voice that responds is anything but cheery. "How did you get to Scorpio? That place was under HEAVY quarantine after it was evacuated, so talk." Jonah takes a deep breath and stares at the monitor. "I was at my doctor's office, getting a brain scan to potentially treat my....issues, and then I was just....here..." Jonah can hear a few people talking in the intercom, probably discussing what Jonah just said. "Okay," Joan responds, "find the transport convoy, it should take you to Orion. We'll talk there." The intercom shuts down and Jonah is left alone once again. He wanders past the communications center and down yet another hall. The smells of rotting bodies and mold fill the air, creating a disgusting combination of scents. Every once and a while, Jonah spots a body. Young and old, male and female, tall and short. They all lay along the walls of the breaking tunnel, that lifeless glaze over their eyes, their bodies starting to transform into a bloody soup. Jonah walks down the bloody path as quickly as possible, the temptation to vomit at its peak. Suddenly, as he rushes down the hall, the glass portholes lining the walls burst in a glassy explosion. Alarms blare as water fills the room, resulting in a bloody pool that slowly threatenes to drown everything. Jonah sprinted down the hall, stepping on rotted organs, bones, and flesh all the way. The floor begins to creak due to the weight of the water, making every step one of possible danger. The door ahead of Jonah lies open, and he is able to throw himself inside before he drowns. He shuts the door as quickly as possible, stopping the water at waist height. Chunks of rotten flesh float in the water, but Jonah pushes forward. He stands inside a bathroom sized "airlock" where he is able to drain the bloody mess.
The room beyond the airlock, however, is even worse then the hall. On the far end of the room is a door labeled "Transportation," but getting there is no easy task. A massive, bloody, eyeless creature stands in the middle of the room, devouring a motionless body of what seems to be a former crew member. There are a few walls, but no way for Jonah to hide from its line of sight. He stands directly in front of it, a clear path for the creature to see him. But it doesn't move or even acknowledge that Jonah stands a few meters ahead of it. He slowly makes his way around the colossal beast, being careful to avoid causing any noise. Suddenly, his foot slips on a loose pipe, sending him slamming into the metal flooring. The sound echoes across the room, alerting the monstrosity to his now obvious presence. The creature drops the body and lets out an ear shattering screech, making long strides straight towards Jonah. He scrambles to his feet and bolts away from the creature, leaving himself trapped against a wall. The behemoth lungs towards him and, as Jonah awaits immediate death, is surprised to see the creatures claw stretched out half an inch towards his face, the creature left trying to move towards him. "Hey, ugly!" Jonah hears. In a few lightning fast slashes, the beast falls into a pile of sliced flesh. Jonah is left gawking as a lady, no older then 19, stands atop the pile of meat, her multitude of weapons shining from the porthole light. "Geez, how many blades does a chick need?" Jonah asks. The lady, whoever she is, sighs and responds with, "I have four on me, fifteen including the hidden ones." She slides down the bloody piles of meat and lands nimbly on the floor. "Name's Scorpiola, my friends call me Scorpio." Scorpiola says, holding out her hand. "Erm...nice to meat you Scorpio-" Jonah begins to say until Scorpiola grabs him around his neck, the sharp tips of her metal gloves piercing his flesh just the tiniest amount. "Did I say we were friends?" She snarls.
