I woke up the next day, unsure if everything that happened the day before was a dream or if it actually happened but, I sure hope it wasn't a dream and so I got up getting ready as fast as I could. I got ready for the day then looked at my clock only to see I had a couple hours before I had to go to school today. I was disappointed that I had to wait for the day to start and so I just sat and thought on it all until it was time for me to go. The time was finally here for me to go and head out so I left in a hurry when my mom stopped me. "Sarah dear, I need to talk to you," She said in a concerned tone. "Mom what is it? I am in a hurry," I said trying to hurry up and leave. She stood there for a minute then said, "Well you see I don't want you to feel bad about your father leaving us here and I want you to know I am here for you." I only agreed and left in a hurry shaking off whatever she was talking about. I went outside and I saw him again standing there. I blinked a few times when I heard him say, "Hey there, told you I would see you today and so you want a ride?" I blushed at him and said, "Yes, thanks." I was so nervous on the car ride, I had never had anyone offer me a ride to school, so I wondered if this is what it is like for all the other girls, who have boyfriends who drive them and I got lost in the thought of all this. "Hey Sarah, you okay? Your face is all red; do you have a fever or something?" He said looking at me while waiting for the red light to change. "Yeah, I am okay." I said quickly while looking out the window to forget what I was thinking, only why couldn't I forget it? I sat trying hard to forget what I was thinking about but it kept playing in my head like as if a song was on repeat and you get a chorus stuck in your head.

We finally arrived at school and I got out of the car. "Thanks for the ride; I have to go to class now." I said quickly and walked away quickly. I was about at the door when he came up again and said, "You know we could walk together." I looked at him and said, "Don't go out of your way to walk me to class, I'm not your girlfriend or anything." He let out a small laugh and said, "We have the exact same class remember?" I tried to think on it when I remembered that he showed up in my class last Friday but, I never thought on it. I looked at the doors then said, "Well if you insist then okay." I was still so nervous, my heart was beating out of my chest and I felt like I could hardly breathe around him. I had never felt this before and so I didn't know what to do with it. When we finally arrived at class, the usual groupie with Brad was waiting like they usually do and before they said anything; Tyler put his arm around me and walked me in. I was blushing more than I ever have before and I was asking myself so many questions. Why was he doing this? Why is he being so nice? Does he like me? I blushed more as I asked myself these questions because I realized I liked him more than anyone else. The rest of the day went like this; He walked me to every class, He would talk but I was too shy to speak a lot, he made lots of jokes to make me laugh and when the day ended he drove me home. I believed this was the start of something beautiful and only time will tell on how much of a miracle this was for me.
