Amy awoke to the light streaming through the curtains in her and Tys bedroom . She smiled and stretched out a little . She felt for Ty next to her but he wasn't there . Frowning slightly she turned over to see her husbands side of the bed empty .
She sighed , she was used to this now -waking up without her husband . Very rarely would she wake up to him being there . Ever since he became a partner at the clinic all he seemed to do was work . Amy wouldn't call him a work aholic as he wasn't it sucked yes but it just made every more moment together special .
Yawning she pushed the covers off of her and climbed out of her warm bed . She pulled the duvet back over the bed and fixed the pillows before pulling open the curtains revealing the beautiful play that is heartland .
Amy and ty had built a house right next to the rail house always wanting to be close to the family . Amy loved being right next to her family and she couldn't wait for her future children to grow up surrounded by people that would love them just as much as she would .
Heading into her bathroom she quickly showered before pulling on some clothes and putting her hair into a pony tail and headed down stairs .
Downstairs there was a note from ty .
Got called in early this morning , didn't want to wake you , love you lots should be home by lunch

She smiled at the note before pulling on her boots and headed outside . She made the quick walk from her and Tys house to the main house shivering in the early morning breeze .
She reached the house and let herself into her former home . She was greeted with warmth and the smell of cooking breakfast .
"Well good morning" said Lisa who was sat at the table pouring coffee .
"Morning Lisa , how are you?" Amy asked grabbing a mug .
"I'm good thank you , yourself?" She asked pouring coffee into Amy's mug .
Amy was just about to answer when Katie ran in .
"Amy Amy Amy" she called running upto her aunt .
"Heya sweetie how are you" Amy asked picking up her niece and putting her onto her hip" .
"Good guess what?" Said the young girl excitedly .
"What's that then Honey?" Asked Amy .
"Mommy said I can have riding lessons" she said excitedly .
"That's great sweetie" said Amy before kissing the top of Katie's head and popping her on the floor .
"You'll make a great mum" mailed Lisa .
Amy giggled and shook her head .
"Have you and ty thought much about having kids" asked Lisa taking a sip of coffee .
Amy sat down .
"Honestly , no . I mean we've been so busy with setting up the buisness and ty becoming a partner , I don't want to have a baby and not be able to give it everything it deserves . Obviously if I was to get pregnant tomorrow I'd be overjoyed but I just want to wait until I'm fully ready" shrugged Amy .
For a split second Lisa looked sad but she soon changed her facial expression .
"That makes sense wait until your ready" she smiled supportively .
"Wait what? baby? when? who? what?" Amy recognised the voice of her older sister lou .
Amy rolled her eyes at Lisa .
"Some people however are not as supportive" said Amy looking over to lou .
"Times ticking" said lou .
"Lou im twenty-six I'm hardly hours away from menopause" sighed Amy .
Lisa laughed at Amy's comeback .
"Maybe not me on the other hand" sighed Lou dramatically .
"Lou your 32" laughed Amy .
"Yeah and divorced and living with my grandfather , his wife and my two kids" said Lou , "no offence" she said to Lisa .
"None taken" said Lisa standing up .
"But don't Wait around forever , because before you know it time flys and Any chance you had is just ... Gone" she says sadly before giving a weak smile and walking out .
Lou and Amy shared a look , Amy has to admit she did feel bad for Lisa . She knew despite how well Lisa hid it that she would've given anything to be a mother . You could tell in how she was with Katie the way she cared for her and was with her it was obvious . Lisa acted as a mother to all of them especially Amy and Lou . After there mother had died they instantly had a connection to Lisa , no one could ever replace there mom but it was nice to have someone there .
"Amy did you not hear me" asked Lou sending Amy flying out of her thoughts .
"Sorry I was on a diffrent planet , what did you say?" Asked Amy .
"D'you want breakfast?" Asked Lou .
"Oh , yes please" answered Amy .
That morning Amy was working with a new horse that had arrived a few days agin. His names wally , he is a prize jumper however recently his owner had been having trouble with loading . It was a problem Amy often dealt with so didnt think would take to long .
However as she began join up as she did with every knee horse her mind was else wear . She couldn't help but think about her Lisa and Lou's conversation earlier . What if they where right , what if se was getting to old , she wanted at least to children and an at least year and a half age gap between them .
However she was brought back into the real world by a silky muzzle pressing into her back . She turned round and stroked the pretty chesnuts face . She clipped on the lead rope to his halter and lead him out of the round pen pushing the thoughts to the back of her mind . Right now she had more important things to think about and this horse was one of them!
